Cut pipes up to 4-1/2 in. Dia or rectangular materials up to 4 in. x 6 in. in size. With 3 different operating speeds of 80, 120 and 200 feet per minute, achieve the perfect cut on a variety of sizes and materials. This bandsaw includes a durable stand with a collapsible handle and two 4 in. never-flat wheels to keep your bandsaw elevated and easy to transport. The beveling vise provides a firm grasp on your workpiece, allowing the bandsaw to create angled cuts anywhere from 0° to 60°. Make 45 cuts up to 3-1/2 in. Dia for circular material and 3-1/2 in. x 3-1/2 in. for square material. If horizontal cutting isn’t your style, simply lift the bandsaw head into the vertical position and attach the included table. Ball bearing blade guides provide a long lifespan and reliable operation while the auto-shut off mechanism automatically stops the bandsaw once a cut has been completed. Onboard blade tension and tilt knobs make for easy adjustments and minor tweaks in-between jobs. The WEN 4 in. x 6 in. Metal-Cutting Bandsaw also features a workpiece stop for uniform cuts, a pre-installed 64-1/2 in. x 1/2 in. blade, a 4.6 Amp motor and a feed rate adjustment handle to make changes to the speed at which the saw lowers itself during horizontal cutting operations. Bought this tool for light hobby work – – I read reviews – mostly good – some bad and some a bit confusing – – assembly was a bit tricky but do-able (hint – put the bolts in on the lower end of the stand from the inside – much easier to tighten the nuts on the outside) – – concerns about squaring the vise to blade were easily solved with a builders square and carbide scribe – – my only complaint was portability as the supplied wheel set seemed inadequate – solved this with a home made 4 wheel dolly out of 2 inch square steel tubing – this also added 4 inches to the overall height – – –

Good, not great. Cheap parts. Feed spring streched out, needed replacement. Good customer service. Cutting .095×1.75 DOM A513 mild steel. After 5 of the 8 consecutive cuts, the motor was so hot I couldn’t even touch it. Perhaps mine is missing a cooling fan- this is concerning for bigger projects.

This is a great little saw. Out of the box it took some tweaking to align the blade to cut straight. So far I have used it to cut a ton of 2x2x1/8″ square, 1x1x1/8″ square, and trimming down sheets of 1/8″ diamond plate steel. The stock blade is pretty decent as I have not had to replace it yet with all these cuts. The one thing that would be nice, is if it came with a little fence for ripping down, pieces of plate to make a more straighter of a cut.
