Cut pipes up to 4-1/2 in. Dia or rectangular materials up to 4 in. x 6 in. in size. With 3 different operating speeds of 80, 120 and 200 feet per minute, achieve the perfect cut on a variety of sizes and materials. This bandsaw includes a durable stand with a collapsible handle and two 4 in. never-flat wheels to keep your bandsaw elevated and easy to transport. The beveling vise provides a firm grasp on your workpiece, allowing the bandsaw to create angled cuts anywhere from 0° to 60°. Make 45 cuts up to 3-1/2 in. Dia for circular material and 3-1/2 in. x 3-1/2 in. for square material. If horizontal cutting isn’t your style, simply lift the bandsaw head into the vertical position and attach the included table. Ball bearing blade guides provide a long lifespan and reliable operation while the auto-shut off mechanism automatically stops the bandsaw once a cut has been completed. Onboard blade tension and tilt knobs make for easy adjustments and minor tweaks in-between jobs. The WEN 4 in. x 6 in. Metal-Cutting Bandsaw also features a workpiece stop for uniform cuts, a pre-installed 64-1/2 in. x 1/2 in. blade, a 4.6 Amp motor and a feed rate adjustment handle to make changes to the speed at which the saw lowers itself during horizontal cutting operations. And because it is a WEN product, your metal-cutting bandsaw comes backed by a 2-year warranty, a nationwide network of skilled service technicians and a friendly customer help line.

Fantastic saw for the price! I almost went with a noisy, dusty, gritty chop saw, but soooo glad that I went with a bandsaw. Absolutely quiet and accurate. Yes, this low cost model has very manual fence (angle) adjustments that take a bit more time, but for the $$, outstanding value. Well Built!

Very well built and does the job!

For a light weight band saw it does pretty good. I think if I purchase a better grade blade it should cut a bit better and faster. It’s not a high production machine by no means but great for small jobs.

I am a woodworker who needs to do a small amount of metal work on occasion. I must admit I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this entry level tool. It cut accurately right out of the box with an accuracy of about 1/32` inch out of square in either direction in a 4 to 6 in cut. The vertical cut feature was really useful for my needs. The adjustments and switching from horizontal to vertical cut is cumbersome and slow requiring several different size wrenches and would not be suitable for someone trying to earn a living cutting metal. But for the occasional use the price makes it very good. Really my only complaint is that the motor seems to get very hot very quickly. I feel like even with light cutting you need to let it cool down more often than I would have expected. It doesn’t smell like it’s burning up but it does get very hot! So with light cutting and occasional use it’s a great saw.

Not industrial strength, but PERFECT for the hobby machinist. Cuts aluminum, brass, stainless, carbon steel … even titanium. Worked perfectly right out of the box. Cuts dead square. No adjustments necessary. Assembly was easy using the instructions provided. Best $250 I ever spent.

Have been using for a month and absolutely love it. Took about an hour to assemble and square up the fence. After that used it for several project’s with very good results. I use it cut square tube and angle stock, works great.

Nice clean cut. I like the way the safety switch turns off the saw in the downward position once the cut is complete. Great product for the price. I would buy this again.

Overall happy but every now and again the motor seems to freeze up I have to take the belt cover off and loosen things up. It’s only in between cuts though it hasn’t happened to me mid cut yet.

Performs as expected. Now having used it awhile, in upright mode with the table installed, I wish the depth was a bit greater. But I knew the dimensions going into this purchase. More than that I wish the wheels were larger diameter to provide greater clearance when lifting the other end and pulling the unit around by the handle: The wheel-side legs catch the pavement frequently if you aren’t diligent in holding the handle at an adequate height. For me it’s a problem as I have to stow this unit in a corner of my garage when I’m not using it – I think I see a rolling tool-stand in the near future .

This is not a precision piece of gear, but no one should expect that for the price. This is a budget saw and you get what you pay for. With that said, if you’re on a tight budget and need something a lot faster than a hacksaw, this is great bang for the buck.

This saw does an amazing job considering the price. For those of us on a budget, this is probably the best saw for the money. I have already cut 4140, 5160, 15n20, 1075, 1080, 1084, 1095, and 51200 with no problems. Just don’t forget to use a good cutting oil since this does not have an automatic coolant.
