Lights for charge left helps a lot. Sufficient time for leaf blower.

The Wen 40-volt chainsaw met my expectations. I read a number of reviews and most said it was a good buy and did the job! Agreed! I bought a second battery with the saw and in reality, it is needed if you have a large tree you want to remove. I think an 80 volt battery would increase the chain speed, but most of them are only 2 amp/hrs. It is a trade off in that the Wen battery is 40volt and 4 amp/hrs. I have an Echo gas powered chainsaw and didn’t even think of using it for all the storm damage I received this winter. It is just an exercise in futility trying to start the gas powered Echo saw. It is a real blessing to just pull the trigger and have power at your finger tips without all the hassle of a gas engine. The one con I don’t like is the hesitation the Wen 40-volt chainsaw has when the saw is first energized, otherwise, I would have given it five stars.

The battery, fully charged, cut down 3 mature 50’ trees and cut them into fireplace sized pieces – and showed no discharge when stored.Only criticism: half charged out of the box – took full charge to function, which took 2 hrs to bring it to full charge! Thus 4 Stars. But, I’m happy with it!
