It was kind of confusing becuz it didn’t start right away after I had charged the batteries. Eventually it started after 10 failed attempts. Weird becuz I had another cordless lawnmower of only 20 volts & it started right away. How do I dispose of my older lawnmower?

I’ve only used it once so far, the grass was very wet, so maybe that’s why the batteries died out right after front lawn was done? Super easy to push around and start!!!! Love that!

This 21 in. 40-Volt Max Lithium-Ion Cordless 3-in-1 Walk Behind Push Lawn Mower with 2-Batteries, 16 Gal. Bag and Charger is quite a deal. It doesn’t require extension chords or gasoline and runs on batteries which is very convenient. It is the mower that I had been looking for and finally found. You won’t be disappointed with this item. Purchase one now and get it ready for spring time.

The mower works just fine. I like the convenience of batteries and the limited maintenance. My only regret is that I bought the unit from a description that may have been out of date. I thought I was getting two large batteries but got one large and one small. It needs two large.

I’ve only used it once, but I was impressed with the battery life. I was able to mow my front yard and quarter of my backyard with just the small 2amp hour battery, then it switched over to the 4 amp hour battery to finish the job. I still have 3/4 of a battery when I was done. It has plenty of power, didn’t bog down at all. I’d give it 5 stars if it had headlights.

This unit is very well balanced with a good blade, easy to manuver. A very good valu by virtue of having the second battery included. I have had one annoying issue early on, the round orange interlock button was being pushed out of place by pulling down the start bar, this keeps unit from starting.

Works fine as a mower and a grass/leaf/small stick mulcher. I beat this up over a 2 day period this fall. The giant yellow maple leaves fell late this year, and we finally got a stretch of dry weather to dry them out. I also wanted to mow the lawn one last time, again late because it has been so wet this fall. The mower held up just fine and I didn’t manage to break anything. I mulched 18 yard bags of leaves. Ran over some small sticks and pieces of wood initially by accident, but as it didn’t seem to bother the mower any I didn’t worry about any more I noticed as I was going along. The leaves mulched finely enough so I left some on the ground to feed the lawn. 1 charger and 2 batteries, I did have to split the job over 2 days for my 1/2 acre lot. The charge didn’t last as long on the day it was about 40 degrees out but that makes sense. My one problem, the bag that came with the mower did not seal well at the top and grass and leaves blew out the top towards me. It would stop doing this once bag was about half full but I’d have the same problem each time I restarted with the empty bag. I asked SEEDs to contact manufacturer about the problem but so far haven’t received a response. Don’t now how long the mower, charger or batteries will last, but I worked the mower pretty hard and did not baby it. A lot of stops and restarts to empty out the catch bag. Other than the bag issue it performed very well.

Quiet, light, and effective. I have to juggle the batteries to complete the whole yard in one effort, but it gets the job done; I can use the breaks during the job anyway. I can carry a conversation while mowing, it’s that quiet. And it’s so light-weight, I can mow with one hand. Gonna mulch leaves this fall, for bagging. We’ll see how that goes. Don’t see any problems, tho, feels powerful enough tto do the job. I’ll let you know.

This is a wonderful full lawn mower, it has excellent power and very good endurance. What you get in the box:21″ mower4 amp battery2 amp batteryBattery chargerMulching attachment Side discharge chuteGrass catcherInstructions and assembly guideThe mower comes completely assembled with the exception of attaching handle. (Note: This is the first mower that I have had in my 61 years that is tall enough to fit my 6’1″ frame.) Once the handle is attached (4 carriage bolts and wingnuts) and adjusted all that’s left to do is fully charge both batteries (about 2 hours). Install both batteries under the clear top cover and both battery levels are shown on the rear top of the battery compartment when the “?” button is pushed. Select the mowing height with the single point adjustment handle on the right rear corner of the mower, Insert the key push the start button pull the safety handle and your cutting grass. The first time I started the mower I was taken by how quiet it is. I measured it at 51 to 58 decibels (equal to the noise of moderate rainfall). The mower is much quieter than even a corded electric mower. This mower seems to run at a constant RPM when cutting, you can hear the motor add power when needed. Mowing with this unit is very easy since it’s so light. Even for a push mower it almost floats across the lawn and makes a very nice very even cut. I used it in all three modes of operation, mulcher bagger and side discharge, all modes worked very well.Overall this is a very good mower that ran over 40 minutes on one charge more than enough to cut what I needed on my larger lawn. The mower runs longer than the gas mower ran on a tank of gas, amazing! Its super quiet and lightweight, highly recommend this mower if you’re in the market.

Had to buy another battery to have enough juice to mow an average suburban lawn; the 2nd battery it comes with is a joke! It’s cool that it runs on batteries, but when it’s running low on juice on the operating battery, the second battery doesn’t give it boost; instead, it drains completely dead before switching over to the 2nd battery…frustrating! Back wheel fell off today and I had to finish mowing on 3 wheels because I couldn’t get it to stay on. Again…frustrating!

I really love this mower! The unit is made in China. It comes with a two year limited warranty. It comes with a Grass Catcher Attachment, Side Chute Attachment and Mulching Plug. The instructions leave something to be desired. They leave you to believe the handle is collapsible. If it is, I couldn’t figure out how to make that happen. It comes with a cable clamp to secure the electrical control cable bundle to the handle. Not that it takes a genius to figure out how to install it, but I didn’t see any step for it’s installation. It’s shown in the assembly figure, but that’s it.Installation of the Catcher or the Chute attachment is a piece of cake. The Mulching Plug is another story. It’s a little bit of a wrestling match to remove, but easy to install.Adjusting the cut height couldn’t be any easier. The mower is really light and maneuverable. As I got this to trim around the areas I couldn’t get to easily with the 42″ Zero Turn; this was the perfect solution. It mows great and seems to have plenty of cutting power. I used it for about 30 minutes without exhausting the batteries. The batteries are easy to install and remove and take about and 1.5 hours to charge which is good since they have to be removed to be charged. You can only charge one battery at a time. The only improvement I would recommend is the capability to be able to just plug the mower in after your done mowing to charge the batteries instead of having to remove them and insert them to the charger one at time to recharge them. The required maintenance of this mower is essentially zero compared to gas powered mower. In summary, I’m giddyy to have this new mower in my lawn care arsenal.

I had to wait so long to test this because here in PA its the end of November and not a good time to be trying to test a lawn mower. Putting it together when I first got it was easy, even if the instructions were slightly confusing. Simple enough to figure out. It was somewhat nice yesterday so we said, if we are going to try it, its now or next spring!! Most of the grass has not been growing for a long time here, but where it was longer, we tried it. The mower is quite heavy even though there is a lot of plastic. It does not have an auto drive on it, making it harder to maneuver or turn for a small lightweight adult or teen. The blades were sharp and cut well. Nice that it made a lot less noise then a gas mower and seemed to have plenty of power. The real test will be to see how much grass can it really cut on one battery charge which they say is about 70 minutes. it comes with dual batteries used simultaneously. We cannot test that part out till spring when we have a full lawn of growing grass. But as far as everything else, this mower is really nice, and with clean energy too, which is very good for the environment. I really like the design of battery powered. No more mixing oils or smelly gas fumes and the hassle of filling gas cans that stink up your car, or having a cord you have to watch that you don’t run over as with electric. I just hope it will be as long lasting as a gas powered engine. I would make sure this machine is kept in a garage or weather proof building. I don’t know how tough this is made with mostly plastic. But, its nothing I would leave out for the seasonal elements to ruin.
