This product is a much better fit for an 8″ drill press that a 4′ model. It is solidly built and easy to use. An added benefit is that it comes with two key bolts and nuts that are used to attach the vise to the drill press table.

The Wen 3 inch drill press vise is a great accessory for a drill press. No drill press should be without a vise for some applications. This is perfect for my Wen 4208, 5-speed, 8 inch drill press. NO, it is NOT a cross vise or a slide table. Those that are new to shop tools will need to know this stuff. YES. you will have to set it up to find the center, so when you tighten up the vice, your work piece will be drilled in the proper location. NOT hard to do. Mine was delivered with a couple bolts nuts and washers that will fit into the t slots on a compound slide table. I use these pieces to bolt my vise to the drill press table. I was expecting to have to buy bolts and did so anyway since I needed 2 to bolt the drill press to a bench and the shorter bolts will come in handy for other stuff. Anyhow, I prefer to bolt my vise and drill press down. I don’t want my drill press or my work piece traveling all over the place. I like that this vice has several ways I can attach it to the table. I can also relocate this vise to my workbench for other applications. For small, light duty projects and the price, you can’t go wrong. I like using this vise to keep my work piece in place for safety reasons. Some shop teacher I had in school was a stickler for machine safety and said to use a vise or clamp down your work when using a drill press to avoid injury to your fingers or hands. He was a smart man so this vise was a no brainer. I never forgot his words of wisdom. Anyhow, get this vise for your drill press.

This is probably the most well-made drill press vise I’ve seen. The fit of the various parts is really good, and the vise operates very smoothly. For the money, I don’t see how you could get a better vise.

It’s a vise. It holds things and saves my fingers. That’s why I had to get it. I like my fingers.

Fit my 10” just right

The 3-inch fit’s a small bench drill press. The 4-inch didn’t work on it. It works as expected. I have both 3 and 4 inches. One for the drill press and one for the work bench.
