Good Vise. I purchased 2. Both arrived in excellent condition and worked well. The sliding action of the jaws and the turning of the threaded tightening bar is smooth. I used one on a drill press for holding steel flat bar when drilling holes. I also used both together for holding steel stock when cutting with an angle grinder.

I have found this 4″ drill press vice to be very useful. It is made of heavy steel and that helps hold items securely in place while drilling. The lines of anchor holes alongside most of each side of the vice will allow someone to securely bolt it to the drill press itself; I’ve not needed to do that because the size of most of the items I’ve used the drill press for were easily help in place by the vise. I’d recommend.

Perplexed!! Looks good, appears to be good quality. Only problem is that it does not seem to fit well on the drill press work table. It is larger than the work table. I candy attach it to two points along one side of the vice. I will continue to try to figur something out so I can use it.

Great vise – frankly though, why they don’t sell it with bolts to clamp it down, I do not know. This is not a user right out of the box’ accessory.
