Good quality for the price. For a small vise it was more than tough enough to handle the stress. I don’t have a bench so the size was perfect to mount to a $10 Goodwill chair for stability.

Home depot had the best price I could find at the time of purchase. Research lead me to this and a few others, but this one had a better warranty, stronger cast iron and higher clamping force than the others. The vice is of a high quality and the handle doesn’t need to be wrenched to hold items steady (like my old cheap vice). I am very happy with the price and quality of the Wen 4″ vice. One small item was the base of the vice. I had to drill out the holes slightly to fit the 1/2″ bolts I used, but that was not really an issue for me.
