So far this bench vice has performed as well as top quality ones I have owned, costing MUCH MORE. Smooth adjustments, holds tight and the anvil is strong and solid. For a 3 inch vice, and the unbelievable low cost, I cannot imagine a better deal anywhere.

Bought it sight unseen. It’s 3 inch size is perfect for the job I need it for. Quality of it great. Paint job matches the stand I built. Anyone looking for small bench vise, I highly recommend it.

Home depot had the best price I could find at the time of purchase. Research lead me to this and a few others, but this one had a better warranty, stronger cast iron and higher clamping force than the others. The vice is of a high quality and the handle doesn’t need to be wrenched to hold items steady (like my old cheap vice). I am very happy with the price and quality of the Wen 4″ vice. One small item was the base of the vice. I had to drill out the holes slightly to fit the 1/2″ bolts I used, but that was not really an issue for me.

Here’s a tip: most of the items that are not in stock in the store and has to be ordered online, are the most reliable ones. And that’s a fact. The WEN vise is better than the other brands. Had no issues.

A great vise for my workbench. Opens wide enough for all of my applications thus far. I wish the vise rotated more, but I mounted it on a corner to make the most of what it offers. The mounting holes are listed as 12.7mm, or 1/2 inch; use a 12mm bolt as the 12.7 does not fit in the holes.

Small vise but it works great. I use it mounted on a bench to sharpen a professional logging saw, does all I need it to….and you definitely can’t beat it for the price!

For the price, a very nice home workbench vise. The jaw plates were slightly misaligned out of the box, but were easily adjusted by loosening the counter sunk screws, aligning with a bar clamp, and retightening. I mounted the vise to a piece of 2×8, 16” long, and store it on the floor when not in use. I clamp the 2×8 to the workbench when I need to use the vise.
