I ordered this palm sander online because the Bend Oregon store does not stock this brand, anyway this one replaced the Black & Decker palm sander that crapped out on me. I bought the B&D at Bend store, would have taken it back except I didn’t save the receipt. Overall this is a decent palm sander for the price, as for the durability, I am not sure, but have several projects that will put it to the test before Summer is over. The pick up at the Bend store went smooth, would recommend picking up products bought online either early or late as the customer service desk is a catch all for all returns & complaints & pickups and can get very busy.

This palm sander is lightweight. The design of the grip makes it comfortable to hold and easy to control. Vibrations are comparable to other sanders of this type allowing extended time for sanding before fatigue sets in. This sander is priced at less than others of this type at Home Depot. It uses the same sandpaper as the others and is available at Home Depot in several grits. The sandpaper is easily attached and removed because it uses hook and loop (Velcro) yet stays firmly attached during sanding.

This sander does an efficient job.. I am re-finishing a staircase that had been carpeted and this machine gets into all the crevices. I especially like how ergonomic the design of the grip is because it’s very comfortable. The only complaint I have is that the sandpaper is expensive.

I do a lot of 3-d wood carvings and had to hand sand the tight little corners. I received this and it does an awesome job getting in to those hard to reach places. Powerful enough and really speeds up the process. I just wish it would have included more than 1 piece of (80 grit) sandpaper. All in all does what I need it to do.

This is a great little sander for small jobs. Its minuscule size allows you to maneuver in tight, cramped spaces. It’s tapered edge also allows you to fit in corners which is pretty useful. I installed a new dishwasher and had to cut a larger hole with a jigsaw to fit the hoses and lines through. After examining my cut, I knew I would have to smooth the edges down, so I pulled out this palm sander to do the trick. It’s probably not the most traditional way to use this device, but it worked very well to smooth off the rough edges of the cut. It fits nicely in the hand and is not too heavy either. It’s pretty much plug and play as well: attach the velcro fitted sand paper, plug it in, press the power button, and away you go. The sanding went very well and it sanded the area down with ease. There is an auxiliary attachment for a vacuum (not included with this product) if you have it so you don’t get too much dust in the work area as well. This little sander performed admirably and I was very happy with it.

It is a black color palm sander; the cord has sufficient length when stepping away from the outlet. The dust collection port is a little difficult to work with based on the design. The sander is lightweight with the pointed tip to get into corners. The velcro bottom base is strong to hold the sandpaper in place the sanding; of course this is not heavy duty product.
