Perhaps this is good for light sanding. An orbital one is likely a more versatile sander. I end up using my drill with one of those connector for rounding sand paper and it works way faster. It wasn’t a good buy. :/

The biggest advantage that this sander has over other detail sanders is its ability to get into corners without turning it on its side. The angle of this sander allows the user to use the natural movement of the motor to get into those tight places and corners without trying to do acrobatics with the sander.It uses a Velcro system to attach the sandpaper which makes the replacements more expensive; but in turn, it creates a very quick and effective method with which to change out the sandpaper. You can also attach it to a shop vacuum to draw away the dust. It’s a great little sander.

This is a lightweight detail sander that makes it easy to do detail sanding. It comes with one piece of 80 grit sandpaper that is hook and loop. All that you do is place the sandpaper on the hook and loop base. It is so quick and easy. Removal is easy because you just peel the paper off of the hook and loop base. The shape of the point makes it easy to get into small areas and corners to quickly sand it. Since it is so lightweight, your hand won’t get tired holding it. The sandpaper has holes in it that match the holes in the base so that dust can be easily collected. The attachment comes with it for hooking up a vac or vac assessory bag. This is a good buy. You get plenty of power in a lightweight unit that fits good in your hand. The cord is plenty long enough to give you room to move around. You’ll want to keep this tool handy for handling those detail projects that can be so frustrating to sand with just paper.
