Works great. Very light and can use with one hand

It did what I needed it to do and that was clean up a large baking table, maple wood. I do wish it was a big more powerful and wider but that is what I picked.

I have used the tool briefly right out of the box for removing paint. did a good job with the belt provided. the bag contained a small portion of the dust. Would need a vacuum connected for periods of long running. so far a good value for the price.

Works really well.

Great belt sander…easy to use with excellent results. I only rated it a 4-star because the bag outlet kept getting jammed with wood chips and I had to take the bag off and clean it out quite often. The bigger chips kept getting stuck, it appeared to have no problem with the finer pieces.

It looks good but infact is not. After receiving it I started to sand some uneven areas of my living room floor, the dust bag is a complete joke as others have said. And the zipper lasted one dumping of saw dust, I had to tape it up and therefore reduced the capacity of the bag by half. And with the diminished capacity the dust built up so fast that the thing started throwing dust out of the motor vent. In short, I finished my floor by using my old Harbor Freight power planer with 90% faster removal and no saw dust being thrown into the air inside the house. All I can say is if you are interested in a power sander don’t buy this one.

I’m sure it’s fine and the price is great. But I managed to repair my old belt sander ( again . . . ), so I canceled the order.

This is the second Wen product we have purchased. They work very well and seem to be a well-made product.

this sander can smooth the skin on a elephant, very light yet powerful, only negative the box it comes in is not very well packaged, item could be damage during shipping if carrier is careless.

Excellent value. This belt sander has significantly outperformed all of my expectations. It is extremely easy to replace worn belts and adjust belt tracking. I would highly recommend this belt sander.

Sander works ok but the dust pick up is non existent. Very little dust makes it to the bag.

Was to assemble, light weight

I was very surprised at this $40 belt sander;s performance. Certainly beyond my expectations. This tool is a keeper, which is something of a rare commodity these days. I sanded down the steps on my deck, which had several hardened layers of bulletproof old stain. No stain remover/stripper would touch it. I bought some 36 grit Diablo belts along with the sander, and had the steps down to bare wood in minutes. The Diablo sanding belts tracked perfectly, and I never touched the tracking adjustment. The low quality 80 grit belt that came with the sander did not track as well, but I still did not have to adjust on the finish sanding pass. BTW, the dust collector works better than any sander I’ve ever used. In fact, it works so well that you have to be sure to empty it once in a while or it’ll plug up the machine.

I was surprised and impressed at the power of this little sander. I make cutting boards, and sometimes I can’t put them through the planer to get them even. This sander did a great job on the chevron board that I was making. I have a WEN planer and it also works great.

I’m using this to sand the cedar siding on my house. It gets hot but is working. The belt slips off about 1/2 an inch but it gets the job done.
