I only used it for one small project but it seemed to work well and do its job.

This sander has power and speed. I had to get a new sander after 35 years because it died. (It was also a Wen) Never had a problem.

This belt sander was so much better than i couldve hoped for. Its powerful and easy to use. Changing belts is so easy. It eats wood. I make custom wood products at my home. This has speed up my projects by days. Good job WEN.

This handheld belt sander is a great value and was perfect for my needs — the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that I don’t have a sense of its reliability yet as I’ve had it for less than a month. I used it to spot sand Hardwoods prior to staining and refinishing. As long as you empty it periodically, the bag catches most of the sawdust. At $35, it was well worth the investment assuming it lasts for a while.

I purchased this simply because of the price. I needed it to sand a door after I planed it. I knew the belt sander and planer I bought from Home Depot and made by WEN would not see alot of use. It is very sturdy and did a wonderful job. VERY good value.

The sander did exactly what it was designed to do. Plus it was also light weight.

this sander has a neat feature at the front that lets closer sanding to the edge of your material. the weight is also well balanced. a good value.

Works good but the only thing wrong with it is the place where the dust comes out of the machine. It is oblong in size not oval so my dust collector will not fit over it. Needs to be round for hose

This my first belts sander, but checked out many. I liked this one because it felt good in my hands plus it was not too heavy. Some might say heavier is better because of less pressure you have to apply in needed areas. I felt that I had more control of the Wens do to the fact it was lighter than others. Plus it was lite on my wallet as well.

Haven’t used it that much yet but worked really well when I did.

Does the job for a lot less money than top brands

This is my second WEN 3×31 belt sander. The first one lasted 18 months before I caused it to break. This one seems pretty good so far but the tension know seems very loose. I will follow up later to see how long it lasts

It works great.

Still a lot of dust despite the bag. Product works well for the money

Good choice for all-around projects. No complaints.

I have only used this once but it performed well. Have gone many years without a belt sander so I didn’t want to invest a lot of money into one. This seems fine at least for occasional use.
