Bought a sander from Harbor freight and immediately took it back because of poor quality. Immediately bought the Wen and was impressed with the quality, design and the ease of use for the same price. It would’ve been nice though if I could have bought it in the store when I needed it.

After three failed Harbor freight sanders, I was about to buy an expensive one when I saw the three year warranty on this Wen. for pricing about the same as HFT. Sold! This is a great sander- powerful, solid, and runs true. For at least three years too I don’t have to worry it mysteriously smoking or just dyeing. Thanks Home Depot.

Cant beat the price for what you get in return. Nice lightweight sander. easy to change belts, the bag will stay on IF you never remove it. Use the zipper to clean out . This is number 3. Each of mine stopped working after 6 months of weekly use. Called WEN and said probably the bushings. (there is a 2 year warranty) Ship it back and they’ll repair it. And they did, they also replaced the cord as well. Only complaint is customer service, they never answer emails. I waited 4 weeks wondering when i would get my sander back, and then appeared on my door step after almost 5 weeks. So thats why 4 stars not 5.
