Simple to assemble, but unit is heavier then I expected. I used my 5hp shop vac hooked up to it but the head would still clog up periodically which then made a mess. Overall it made the job a lot easier though and for the price it’s well worth it.

This sander allowed me to finish sanding a wall in a shorter amount of time than I would have otherwise needed. It worked as expected and was a great value.

Had mine for over a year and hasn’t broke. Porter Cable would have broken at least 4 times. You can buy 4 of these for the price of Porter Cable.

I am very glad I made this purchase …..Works great….less dust…if only it was a little lighter for me….but it was well worth the money…

A nice tool and priced great. A small learning curve but gets the job done at a fraction of the cost of the higher priced brands.

Overall, I think it’s a pretty good unit. Used it on a ceiling and it took some getting used to and I did have to repair a couple spots where the sanding head dug in. Would be much better if it were a random orbit sanding head vs. just an orbital. With more practice, I’m sure I’ll get good with it. Did a decent job at dust mitigation and beats the heck out of a pole sander.

Worked well on rough sanding. Little hard to finesse finish sanding.

This drywall sander is one of the less expensive ones but it performed great . Once you get used to and work with what its capable of it will get the job done . Best purchase in a long time .

This is my first WEN tool and I’m very pleased with it. Before purchasing, I had rented a drywall sander from HD (the Chervon, which is similar to the P-C) and read several reviews of several brands. With the motor in the head, the WEN may be slightly top heavy but not immensely so compared with others. Face it, holding anything like this over your head for doing ceilings can get fatiguing, so I just take a break – it beats hand sanding with a drywall screen on a pole! And the vac system with my shop vac controls at least 95 percent of the dust, so happy about that, too. I consider myself an experienced, advanced amateur and have done a lot of remodeling, wish I had this years ago.I like the features including the expandable wand. So far, the quality seems excellent, and you can’t beat the price. Very pleased.
