For the money a good sander. Could be a little better at collecting the dust. Had it connected to a Porter Cable drywall vac but still it let dust float free. Sanded nicely. Once again a good value.

Light weight as far as i was concerned, good sanding movement and plenty of power to remove and sand wood as well as drywall

Just like I expected it will do a great job

I did not like the triangular head and home depot does not carry the triangular sandpaper in anything other than 60 grit and that must be pre-ordered. You need to order the other grit sizes directly from WEN. Here is a review video during and after use. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=nQSiTttQHMk

I bought this tool specifically for drywall repair sanding in a furnished house. I started with the round head, followed direction, hooked the hose to a shop vac with a paper bag filter…All went well and looked good until when using it I turned it off and took it away from the work area, dry wall dust went every where.Checked all the connections, made sure the vacuum hoses were good and tight tried it again with the same results. There is a concentration of drywall dust building up in the bottom of the round head. For some reason the system does not clean it out.If the space isn’t furnished this is a great time saving tool…but alas this is not the case for me.

disappointed that it doesn’t come with dust bag considering the cost and it’s so heavy that there’s no way I’d be able to lift and use this thing

Should’ve bought one a long time ago. The corner adapter I can do without but it works great otherwise. I sanded out 1 apartment in under 2 hours. Make sure to use a finer grit, I bought 240, and it turned out great. Very little swirling and had a nice finish to it. Be careful not to over sand as it is easy if you aren’t paying attention.

The sander was easy to setup. I’m using a 6.5hp ShopVac with an adapter to connect it to the sander. I’m sanding down a skim coat before priming and painting. The sander does an alright job of knocking down high points and smoothing things out. I would like to mention however that the triangle head’s rubber dust containment strips came off on first use. Dust containment is alright, just be sure that the (round) head stops rotating before removing it from the wall. If it loses contact with the wall while spinning, it will shoot dust out into wherever you are working. Also, it may be best to connect your vacuum to the head directly via the hose clamp. There was another user who had mentioned that this improved dust containment significantly.Overall, I think this unit is alright. I’ll try to fix the rubber strips but will go back to the store if I can’t. I haven’t had an opportunity to try to the Porter Cable unit, so I cannot compare. However, this one is less than half the cost, so you get what you pay for.

Variable speed quit working after 2 hours of use .returned and purchased a different wen model that just came out , only used it about 2 hours it doesn’t have the same amount of flex at the head as this one but still gets it done.

I own a small painting and drywall company. I was looking for a drywall sander after I had gotten a few calls for texture removal and didnt want to keep renting since I had enough work to justify purchasing my own. I did some research, talked to some other contractors, and I decided to buy this product. There are more expensive brands , but none that I know of offer the triangular head. I used to have to use my pole sander or palm sander to do the edges and corners…. not with this product. I switched the heads, pretty easy process, and did all the edges and corners first. I then switched back to the circular head to finish the rest of the ceiling. It has a ton of power for how lightweight it is. Fairly well balanced. The vacuum works great, much cleaner than I anticipated. Ive used this for one day and ive already made more than my initial investment back. If youre a DIY homeowner or even a contractor , you cant go wrong with this sander. For the price you will not find a better value, it works as good if not better than many of its competitors that cost twice as much or more. I will be buying another one to add to my arsenal of tools. My only regret is that I waited so long to buy it, if I had known it was this great I wouldnt have put it off for so long.

Bought this for our company to save time sanding, it works better than I expected and when hooked up to a shop vac reduced dust by at least 80%! Very impressed for the price!

I would give it 5 stars except that it was very heavy on the sandpaper end. It was hard to hold it to the ceiling for very long. Also the vacuum hose, even though a flexible one, also added to the heaviness.

Drywall sander works great for big jobs makes them get finished faster. It comes with two heads a round on for bigger areas and a triangular one for edges and corners. It connects to your shop vac so it is virtually dust free. I wish it would have came with a carrying case, it would make it a lot easier to move from job to job and help keep everything together. The sander is not brushless and comes with an extra set. It is also may be a little heavy on business end for some users.
