Great tool works well. It’s easier to change the belt then several other models that I checked out before selecting the WEN machine. It’s very easy to set up and adjust the belt and disk. The belt sander angle is easy to adjust to any position that you need. All and all, I would say this is a very nice machine for the price.

The Wen 4 in. x 36 in. belt and 6 in. disc corded sander is ideal for what I needed it for. The tilting table is a nice feature and it can be relocated to the belt side as well. The belt sander is great and it can be pivoted 90 degrees to a vertical position, you can also lock it into position between 0 and 90 degrees. The only negative I’ve experienced so far is it take a bit of time to straighten out the alignment of the belt if it’s off. When I first got it it was off-center by about 1/2″ and when I would center it up it would run back to the right, then I over-corrected it and it ran back to the left. About 5-10 minutes later I had it right on but it was a bit unnerving for most of that time.

Sanding disc table a little small for bigger cuts of wood but if careful should work ok.

A very useful addition to my shop tools

Great sander for the money. The only negative so far is the slop in the miter table and gauge. I will shim up the slider with some silver tape and it should be snug enough for my purposes. If you need a high precision sander, you will need to spend a lot more money. It is still a good sander for a good price.

Easy assembly, Has nice power cord. Loosen a couple bolts to rotate the belt sander. Motor doesn’t bog down unless it’s a heavy load.

Only used a few times but setup went really easy. The sandpaper that comes with is good and aggressive. Tool rest is decent. Toss the miter gauge as it is pretty much worthless but I’ve never used one on a sander before. Overall great value for the price

Solid starter piece of equipment. Good value for the money. As long as you’re not reefing on it, pushing too hard, or trying to do too much on it, you’ll be set.

Perfact for my small shop, if you stall this machine your pushing to hard, use a more aggresive grit or be a little more patient. The only reason i gave 4 stars instead of five, is because there is no dust control, but i can add something.

I haven’t used this sander for much yet, but so far it is good. Easy to set up, went straight to work. The 80 grit belts it came with hold u p under a bit of light work on native hardwoods. It is also easy to adjust the angle of the different parts. Time will tell if it holds up.
