This machine was extremely easy to assemble and setup and performed very well straight out of the box. My satisfaction was based on the expectations I developed through a lot of research prior to purchasing this unit. I had a fully-equipped workshop in my basement, including a larger disc/belt sander from another manufacturer. I moved into a retirement community, in which I have very limited space, which limits my projects in size. I was seeking a smaller unit that would be capable of handling smaller parts and a lighter workload. This is not a full-sized production machine. But, it is well-designed and built and very capable for my proposed use.I would recommend this unit to anyone who is looking for a small, capable disc/belt sander.

This is a good workhorse tool & mine gets a lot of use. I’ve had it for a year now & it’s still running well. It would be nice if changing the sanding belt were made a little easier, but no other complaints so far. Totally worth it for me for sanding a lot of wood crafts and far easier and faster than my palm sander in most cases.

I am on my 3rd one. Although these sanders are not particularly reliable they are the best option currently available. They work great when they work. My first lasted about 3 years, the second blew up after 2.5 months. Luckily was able to exchange it… still would recommend, and supposedly the 2019 model uses a different motor? Maybe it will have less issues…

Good product! Very happy with this purchase. Works very well, base is heavy enough that it doesn’t need to be bolted down. It does bugg down when you apply too much pressure on belt, you can even stop it completely. But I think that issue can be avoided by simply changing to a coarser grit paper.
