Remember when your sander was a stander? Smooth out intricate contours or remove material quickly with the WEN 6 x 48-Inch Belt and 9-inch Disc Sander with Stand. The heavy-duty body provides enough weight to prevent walking and vibration during use while the steel stand keeps sanding surfaces elevated over three feet off the ground. Our powerful 9A motor prevents the unit from bogging down under even the largest of loads, providing a belt speed of 2700 feet per minute and a disc speed of 3450 rotations per minute. The tension quick release lever gives you the power to switch and replace sandpaper grits as needed without wasting any time, making belt changes easier than ever. The spacious 11-3/4 x 6 inch disc table bevels up to 45 degrees while the belt tilts anywhere from 0 to 90 degrees to accommodate the needs of your particular project. The adjustable 9-3/4 x 5-3/4 inch sanding support doubles as both a work table and a work stop depending on the orientation of the belt. This package also includes an 80-grit sanding disc, an 80-grit sanding belt, a miter gauge for angled sanding, and two dust ports for minimal cleanup. And, because its a WEN product, your purchase comes backed by a two-year warranty, a nationwide network of skilled service technicians and a friendly customer help line. Extremely easy to assemble and performs as intended. I have had it only for one month. Very quiet compared to my old one.

Used it right away. Works very well. Used to true up header flanges. Did a wonderful job.

Heavy machine with adequate power. I had a small problem with the disc being out of balance but one call to Wen and a new one was in the mail immediately, no charge. It lumbers along on startup but once it gets rolling does a great job.

Very good, heavy duty unit was easy to assemble and set up. So far it seems to have plenty of power to get the job done. Very good machine.

Package arrived with some damage and most of the hardware had been lost. The machine was in good order and after a call to Home Depot the problem was resolved. The unit is very heavy duty and the biggest piece probably weighs 80#’ s plus! I needed help to get it mounted on the frame. Assembly was easy but the manual is poorly written. My experience with tool assembly allowed me to assemble the sander easily, not the instruction!Operation and set up is easy and quick. Belt changing is quick. Love the power it packs. Can’t stall the belt no matter how hard I try and because of its weight it is very stable. Creates a lot of sawdust fast so dust collection is a must.

Very nice sander. Was pleasantly surprised with the construction. Well made and sufficiently sturdy for a home workshop. The floor stand is very sturdy.

So far only used sander a couple of weeks, assembly was fairley straightforward, stand appears to be sturdy, belt adjustment stays where you put it, seems to have plenty of power. Realy my only complaint is the slots for the miter gauge are a little sloppy.
