Remember when you brought those old jagged boards back to life. The WEN 13 in. 3-Blade Benchtop Thickness Planer repurposes rough and worn wood to give it an exceptionally smooth finish. The powerful 15 Amp motor provides over 25,500 cuts per minute at a 26 ft. per minute feed rate. Plane boards up to 13 in. W and 6 in. T with ease. The onboard planning gage helps inform users about the amount of material being removed during each pass. Combine that with the heavy-duty cast iron base for a sturdy planer that does not walk or wobble during operation. The handy depth adjustment knob varies each pass to take off anywhere from 0 in. to 3/32 in. of an inch. The fan-assisted dust port removes chips and sawdust from the workpiece and blasts them out of the way. This package also includes height-adjustable infeed and outfeed tables to limit snipe while providing extra support to your workpiece during planning. Easily mount the planer to a work surface or stand using the predrilled base holes. Repurpose old wood or make a set of boards flush with the WEN 13 in. 3-Blade Benchtop Thickness Planer. And because its a WEN product, this planer comes backed by a nationwide network of skilled service technicians, a helpful customer support line and a two-year warranty. Very satisfied. I’m no carpenter. This fits the budget and does a great job. I bought jointer and planer for the cost of one expensive planer.

First planer ever used let alone owned. Need to learn to feed better to eliminate snipe
Zella Bernhard (verified owner) –
This planer does an excellent job I just wish there was a way to adjust the feed speed!! The only bad thing I found was that the wood had a hard time feeding if it is hard wood!!

Easy to use and adjust, and creates such a smooth finish. Adjusting 1/4 turn each pass works well. I have property and bring logs to a local guy who slabs them up and I’m having so much fun putting ones that are less than 16″ through the planer to make mudroom benches, window trim and lots of other stuff. So worth the money.

This planer is everything it’s advertised to be. Easy setup and smooth operation. Easily handled oak barn wood. I have it mounted on the recommended stand and the pair is great.

Very good for the money! I have run probably about 50 board feet thru it, had to adjust it a couple times to minimize snipe, and while I wasnt able to get rid of it completely, if I run sacrificial boards before and after, it comes out totally clean. Good product!

works well, b sure ask about the stand

WEN planer works well. The triple blade puts less strain on the blades plowing through knots. For the price it met my expectations

Have only used it for a couple of weeks now. Setup was kind of straight forward. It does what it is advertised to do, in my opinion pretty well. Of course I am a new at it.

Easy assembly and adjustment. Easy to use. Bought primarily to run a lot of old pine flooring that had been stained, gouged, water damaged, etc. Working great so far. Smooth, clean finish and boards all the same thickness with no problems. Beats sanding!

The planner was easy to set up and use. I have gotten to use very little so far, but the job it does is very good. I look forward to using it more when I start another home project.

I am impressed with the planer as I have over 1000 linear ft of rough cut pine to clean up.I just need to find the replacement blades for it.

Product was great. I have planed touch cut cherry to build an entire entertainment center. Unfortunately I had to use Home Depot customer service and after 4 people, the manager they found the issue which delayed the project by 3 weeks. Wen planer is great Home Depot confidence is still very low.

It worked just as I needed it to do

She’s loud but does a great job! I don’t think you can beat this for the price. I hooked my RIGID shop vac up to it and the mess is minimal. I haven’t come across any issues and I have put quite a bit of lumber through it! Snipe is easy to avoid in my opinion.

Has worked as expected. Doing a great job for my needs.

Came almost fully assembled. After making a few adjustments to the in feed and out feed tables to make sure they were in alignment the planer worked well. I have only made a few cuts with it, but no problems yet.
