Remember when you brought those old jagged boards back to life. The WEN 13 in. 3-Blade Benchtop Thickness Planer repurposes rough and worn wood to give it an exceptionally smooth finish. The powerful 15 Amp motor provides over 25,500 cuts per minute at a 26 ft. per minute feed rate. Plane boards up to 13 in. W and 6 in. T with ease. The onboard planning gage helps inform users about the amount of material being removed during each pass. Combine that with the heavy-duty cast iron base for a sturdy planer that does not walk or wobble during operation. The handy depth adjustment knob varies each pass to take off anywhere from 0 in. to 3/32 in. of an inch. The fan-assisted dust port removes chips and sawdust from the workpiece and blasts them out of the way. This package also includes height-adjustable infeed and outfeed tables to limit snipe while providing extra support to your workpiece during planning. Easily mount the planer to a work surface or stand using the predrilled base holes. Repurpose old wood or make a set of boards flush with the WEN 13 in. 3-Blade Benchtop Thickness Planer. And because its a WEN product, this planer comes backed by a nationwide network of skilled service technicians, a helpful customer support line and a two-year warranty. Easy set up and usage. Have only used once and it worked well.Glad I went with the 13” 3 blade.

Planer came out of it’s box ready to work. And, after having only used it for a few jobs so far, can report out my 5-star rating with no fear of future regret. After practice runs on a few clean and smooth lengths of pine, to observe reaction to a range of cut settings, with planer response as expected, next was a real tough task: cleaning up some salvaged solid black walnut, whose prior history were as two large Danish Modern cabinets. Recovered slabs were 12″ wide and a bit over 3/4′ thick, that had a heavy coating of dry and damaged oil & wax finish. Cleaned all slabs up with minimum effort and got walnut back to clean & flat 3/4″ stock, ready to become new MBR drawer and door fronts. “Happy” is too weak a word, given how this new tool has performed so far. Btw, my shop-vac sucked up 99% of all planer chips with no clogging, which differs from other users postings.

This is my first planer and it has taken my new woodworking business to the next level.

Works great with a lot less vibrations than a 2 blade model. My only complaint is one cannot store the dust baffle screws back in their holes and fold up the table for storage. Just an 1/8″ over and it would have fit.

Outstanding purchase

Easy setup and flattens my boards nicely. A little snipe issue, but there a few ways to remedy that. Happy with my Wen Planer purchase.
Keagan Beatty (verified owner) –
A bunch of snipe on this model more often than I would like. It does perform well about 50% of the time.
Ansel Adams (verified owner) –
Good piece of equipment.

Excellent value for small wood worker.

For the money this is one excellent surface planer. I was concerned about the quality for under $300 planer but this planer cuts my boards with no rip outs or sniping. Well worth the money for what I paid.
Darwin Kassulke (verified owner) –
This planner has terrible snipe problems. Supposedly, you can adjust it out. The instructions give only the slightest help. I’ve fiddled with it for a few days and it’s frustrating. One side planes differently from the other. Hardest tool I’ve ever had to use.
Fleta O’Kon (verified owner) –
I did the research, and after using it for a number of projects, it performs as advertised. The issue of cupping on ends is the only drawback.
Romaine Steuber (verified owner) –
I have t used it yet. The table could be a little higher, should be easy to fix up blocks.

I’ve only had occasion to use my new planer a few times thus far, but I must admit that each time it has been clean and true! The reviews were favorable before my purchase, and that is why I bought the WEN instead of the more expensive brand. No regrets! Cuts were clean and smooth, and it wasn’t as loud as I expected. Huge thumbs up! I built a cabinet for it, too.

Very nice I had a old 2 blade planer that broke which I glade it did because this one is great

The planer was very easy to setup and easy to use. Planing about 40-10” wide maple boards without any problem.
