I received this and immediately thought..this is not a piece of.c___. Heavy enough to do some work. Put the blade on (simple) and Cut a piece of 2″ square tubing..3/16″wall. Sweet. My over all need is to have a vertical band saw, and I made a stand using some 1-1/2 inch square tubing and some flat stock to make a “hang on” stand for the very large (appropriate size) ” D” handle and allowing the body to wedge into a V…and it works great. I did replace the table with a piece of 1/4 plate utilizing the two screws, about 8″ square. I may take picture and update this review. we’ll see. Highly recommend this product. Price is comparable to some lower priced saws, but I think this a bit higher quality. IMHO. Very happy with purchase.

So far it’s been great. The saw seems to work very well, it feels very stout and we’ll constructed, not flimsy at all. The speed control works well and the blade tracks well. I use these types of saws professionally in my trade and this saw appears to be comparable in quality.

This is a lot of tool for a little money. I built a stand for it just out of some wooden scraps (see YouTube for how to do it), and clamped on a “table” using a 8″x8″x1/8 piece of steel. It is now a benchtop bandsaw for just over one hundred dollars! Plenty of power and well built. And a two year warranty as compared to the 90 days that you get with HF.
