Wen 10 in. 24-Tooth Carbide-Tipped Professional Multi-Material Framing Saw BladeI have this blade installed on my 10 inch Delta miter saw and am very happy with the performance of the blade. At 24 teeth per inch I get a very smooth cut with minimal to no tear out on cuts. The narrow kerf of 1/10 inch provides only minimal loss in multiple cuts. The carbide tip blade offer longer life. I feel at the price of this blade it is a great value and would recommend to others.Pros:Narrow kerf of 1/10 inch.Carbide tip bladeClean cut with minimal to no tear outCONS:Nothing at this time

Sharp cut, easy cut, less wear on the motor in cutting.

This is a 10 inch blade with 5/8 ” arbor hole, made to fit most 10 inch saws. It is made by Wen, an old company that is less known, but is a good company. The blade has 24 carbide edged teeth. It is ideal for those cuts when framing in a house, such as cutting 2 x 4’s and 2 x 6’s. It is also able to cut multiple other materials. It is strong and sturdy. I highly recommend it.

Every saw blade has tasks it is designed for and does well, and others that there are better choices to achieve the results you want. This Wen Carbide Tipped Circular Saw Blade is an excellent choice for general-purpose use around the workshop, designed to handle everything from framing lumber to plywood to cutting accumulated scrap wood down to size for disposal. This nicely finished and surface treated blade performs like a pro. This is a professional grade, quality built, 24 tooth, heavy duty carbide tipped blade, a design combination and a brand name known for long service life and for producing a very clean cut. It is up to any task you can put it to either on the jobsite or in the home craftsman’s workshop. It is also very sharp. Wen ships it with a heavy disposable plastic shield that should be removed only after you have installed the blade in the saw, with the plug pulled, not just the switch off, and with your fingers safely out of the way. In setting this one up and testing it, I ran some especially hard, old 4×4 pressure treated framing lumber thru it, which it cut like butter with no noticeable load on the motor. Nothing is more satisfying than the performance of a razor-sharp new blade like this one. Cut nothing, especially scrap or repurposed old wood without first carefully inspecting it for imbedded nails, staples and screws. Even new lumber fresh from the store can have loose bar-code tag staples in it that can cut you when you handle it or be thrown out like a missile by a high-speed circular saw blade. It is time to replace a blade when it starts becoming noticeably dull, loads-up, cuts slower, requires force to feed wood into it, becomes noisy, burns the wood, or starts to grab. It is dangerous and frustrating to continue operating it at this point. Have and never lose a wary respect for serious cutting tools, plan your job, and never give less than one hundred percent of your attention to it when using them.

I used this on my miter saw to cut some framing lumber and was pleased with the clean cuts it made in 2″ x 4″ s and 2″ x 6″s.Chip removal was excellent and cutting speed was fast. I’m going to put this on my table saw to do some rip cutting and expect the results will be a good. This blade should last me a long time. If you need a new rough cutting blade, I recommend you try this one and see for your self.
