I just put this on my SawStop PCS a few minutes ago and I am impressed, for the price. It is at least as good a blade as the one the saw came with. It retails for less than $20 so it is not as good as my much pricier infinity or Freud blades. The price is more like a Freud Diablo and I see some advantages over the diablo, although I like Freud blades. This blade comes better packaged as I hope you can see in one of the pictures. I think it cuts at least as well and at least on the initial test there was no burning. There is a slight roughness to the cut that my better blades do not have but it would easily sand away quickly. It is thin kerf.

This a a good blade, especially when price is considered. I’m currently using it when my other blades are getting cleaned or out for sharpening. It was shipped without any damage in decent packaging. It’s an ATB blade so it won’t leave flat bottoms. It cut 4/4 maple and cherry as I expected it would – just fine. The real test is plywood, and it did a good job there too without blowing out any of the veneer (top or bottom – ZCI was used). The surface left is far from finish-ready, but I’d slap some glue on it off the saw. No, this isn’t as good as a Woodworker II. It’s also not even a quarter of the price of a woodworker II. For a backup or high risk of damage blade, it’s perfect. And it’s better than the blade your tablesaw came with

Wen Professional 10 inch 40 tooth Fine Cut Table Saw Blade The 10“ Wen table saw blade came in a nice reusable cardboard folder which keeps the blade and blade teeth from damage when not installed on my PCS175 Sawstop cabinet table saw. I used the blade to cut a 3/4” X 1 1/2” piece of Poplar wood. The blade cut through the piece of wood like a Hot Knife through Butter. I could hardly feel the contact of the blade to the wood due to such a clean smooth cut. The Wen blade cut through the Poplar without leaving very many splinters/Tear out on the back side of the wood. The only thing I was concerned about while installing and using the Wen table saw blade was that Wen uses a, “unique protective coating on the blade that fights off potential damage caused by heat, rust corrosion, gumming and resin”. The Sawstop table saw owners manual warns that using any blades with any protective coating could disable the safety features of the Sawstop table saw. The blade of the Sawstop saw carries a small electrical signal. When skin contacts the blade, the signal changes because the human body is conducive. The change to the signal activates the Sawstop’s safety system. Users will have to remember that while using the Wen table saw blade on a Sawstop, the safety system is considered disabled. With that said, I was still very impressed with this Wen table saw blade and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a high quality smooth cutting carbide tipped table saw blade
