Remember when your saw stayed on the right track. Keep your cuts on the straight and narrow with the WEN 10-Amp Sidewinder Plunge Cut Track Saw. The WEN Track Saw provides users the same results as a table or panel saw in a compact and portable package. Simply lay the track (not included – model CT9502) along the desired surface for a clean and smooth cut. The WEN Track Saw is the perfect companion for ripping plywood, trimming doors, building furniture, and any other application needing long, precise cuts. Our powerful 10-Amp motor rotates the 6-1/2 in. blade up to 5500 times per minute, letting you power through even the hardest of woods. Bevel the saw 45° to the left to create angled cuts in boards up to 1-5/8 in. thick. Set the depth gauge anywhere from 0 to 2-1/3 in. to control how deep the saw plunges. The 12 x 6-5/8 in. base features precision grooves that let the saw glide smoothly along the track. However, the saw can also exist on its own as a plunge saw, relying on its flat base for maximum stability and precision. Easily switch between three different blade settings: one for scoring cuts that go 1/8 in. deep, one for full plunge cuts, and one to simplify blade changes. The back-mounted dust port allows for attachment to your favorite dust collection system to control sawdust and limit cleanup. Simply attach your dust collection device of choice and start sawing. Compatible with the WEN CT9502 100 in. Track and the WEN CT992F Track Saw Clam

Just got this saw and started using it with the Powertec guide rails. For less than $300.00 I was able to make some really good cuts. The stock blade, (which I normally toss) performed quite well, surprisingly actually. For a 26 tooth blade there was very little chip out, with the 56 tooth blade (on order) the cuts should be even better. After adjusting the saw to the tracks then waxing the tracks and saw base, the saw slide on the track like butter. Saw dust collection was not really tested as I was cutting outside, but I think with a shop vac it should be good. Using the saw was easy and took very little effort to plunge it and hold it down to make the cuts. It is easy to disable the kick back feature, but most will find it is a feature they should keep in place. The saw is not very heavy, but the motor did not bog down with any of the cuts I made. I will be testing it ripping 5/4 maple and will try to post results. Many will say it has plastic parts, but I don’t know of any saw that doesn’t. If the plastic parts break it should not be to expensive or hard to replace. This is a good investment for those that want to try out a track saw, but don’t want to spend a $1000.00 for a tool they will use once a month. Wen is making a good saw and it should not disappoint anyone that tries it. Okay for those that puff up and say it is not a festool, well you are correct.Festool 55 $699.00 with 55 inch track. If you want the extra 55 inch track $145.00 3 year warranty with 10 year spare parts availability. Not sure if from start of model year or from end of production. It has a proprietary power cord so if you lose it $63.00.Replacement splinter guard 55″ $24.00.Guide rail clamp just one $42.00, so $84.00 for two.You do get a systainer case and free t-shirt so there is that.Total without replacement power cord $976.00Wen: Track saw $124.99. 2 year warranty.Powertec guide rails $127.13. Replacement splinter guard 118″ $17.99.Two clamps $14.99Replacement power cord, take it from an extension cord.Total $285.10So if this saw last 5 years it will take 25 years and I will still have not spent the same amount as someone buying the festool. Chances are they will replace the festool in 10 years so I will still be ahead, since there may be no parts available. This saw isn’t a festool, makita or dewalt, but then again I didn’t spend that kind of money. Although festool did give people a free t-shirt.I think this saw will serve the purpose that I purchased it for which is to cut wood and make saw dust, unfortunately I didn’t get the $976.00 free t-shirt.

its done everything i’ve needed it to do… if I did woodworking as a living I “might” waste my money on a festool… but since this is a hobby for me I needed something that could do the same thing as a more expensive saw could do, and this Wen does it all for me… if you were to go by watching youtube videos, you would be mislead to believe the only track saw to own is the festool (at $600 minimum for the saw only) the WEN saw, track and clamps about $200 all in… what you need to know and why the WEN is the better budget track saw, and thats the price, the WEN is the same generic china rebrand track saw as the, Titan TTB673CSW, MAC allister TTB673CSW, Erbauer ERB690CSW, and Feider FS1612… and I’m sure others as well… the WEN being a little over $100 is the best bang for your buck, I have done all the research, I buy nothing on a whim… I also bought the WEN CT9502 100-Inch track, my set is dead straight… so if you were looking an honest review from someone that made sure they werent getting ripped off, and doesnt care if all their tools are the same color or brand, and just wanted it to do what it needed to do… this was it

Was skeptical given how much cheaper than next closest track saw but quite surprised with accuracy and power. Purchased with track which works great. The all-plastic body was also a concern. I dropped the saw off my work table and didn’t notice any damage. Strong plastic body. We’ll see how many of those it can take.

I have been extremely satisfied with other Wen products I’ve purchased. This saw looks like a very well-constructed piece of equipment, with lots of adjustment to be sure it works right in the track. Be sure to read the manual with the saw right in front of you to learn what all the little bits do.I bought the optional track and clamps and am looking forward to nice straight cuts. It slides in the track very smoothly and has nice safety features to prevent unwanted cutting.

Track saw is awesome and gets the job done like any other track saw so far so good, and can’t beat the price.

For the money the saw cut very accurately. The minor adjustments help keep the saw lined up in the track.

I’ve noticed lately that WEN has been stepping up their game and releasing more product options with Home Depot. If your a carpenter or your average Do It Yourselfer like I am this saw is a great option for you. What I like best about the saw is that I can take the track and saw to my project instead of carrying the project over to the saw in a shop. This saw will allow you to cut those straight lines from beginning to end. Its the perfect bang for your buck if your shopping around for one. They’ve even added a port to attach a vacuum hose. The saw has fantastic features that allow you to customize your cut as well. They even threw in extra carbon brushes! Overall, this saw is a perfect option to highly consider! Its a WINNER!

the saw is a great running saw and the adjustments are very easy to tweak. All in all a good useful saw.

I am highly impressed on how accurate this saw cuts The ease of setting the depth anyone can cut like a pro.The fact that it comes fully assembled makes it that much easier to use.The instructions are precise and easy to read. Now anytime I need to make cuts and do not have a table saw I will be using this track saw.I suggest you purchase the 80 inch track for more versatility

The saw worked great right out of the box. However I will never order from Home Depot online again, their customer service is just the worst.

The WEN 10 AMP 6.5 IN. PLUNGE CUT SIDEWINDER CIRCULAR TRACK SAW is surprisingly a nice saw, for an inexpensive tool. It is all made out of plastic. But it seems to be well built. I’ve only used it with out the tracks. Because I don’t have them yet. I have been happy with all my wen tools. I have a router a belt sander a spindle sander and now a track saw. They all meet my needs quite well. I am very happy with wen. I recommend them.

I love this saw. The WEN 10 amp 6.5 in Plunge Cut Sidewinder Circular Track Saw is a super convenient tool, especially when you’re trying to cut plywood by yourself. I have a table saws, but it always feels like I’m going to kill myself when running a full size piece of plywood on it. This track saw sets up in a hurry and provides accurate and easy cutting. I also purchased the track and clamps and the whole set up is super easy to use. The saw doesn’t wobble on the track and it provides a nice and straight cut. It has tabs on the bottom of the saw that can be adjusted to lock the saw into the track and provide kickback resistance. Also, if the track starts to wear down you can adjust the snugness of the fit.

Most affordable plunge cut saw on the market for the money. If you’re a weekend only user and not concerned with you cuts not being perfect then this saw will work fine. Keep in mind everything is sold separately which I found frustrating. Of course this is another reason the price is so low. You’re purchasing a plunge cut saw with no track and no clamps. I had to order each separately. My suggestion is if you’re going to sell a tool sell with everything needed. Or have options to add everything in one purchase.

Used with a track this is a great product. This saw was designed for use with a track so that you can cut up large or small sheets of wood. I wanted it mainly to cut up plywood for kitchen cabinets. I order the tracks to go with the saw so I can use it as designed as free hand cuts may not be dead straight on. I set it up to cut a piece of wood in order to add a shelf to the book case as you can see in the picture. I did both short sides squaring it off, then the long side to narrow it down to fit. VOILA! It fit perfectly, now for the sanding and painting. The Say after setup per the instructions operated flawlessly. Be very sure to read them, it threw out the sawdust out the vacuum hose outlet. (I need to get an adapter for it) I am very happy with it and it does jobs just like the expensive versions of these things.

This is a great saw with smooth operation. I purchased the 100″ track so I can cut full length plywood and it hasn’t let me down yet.
