Description
Remember when your saw was on the straight and narrow. Secure your track saws guide rail tightly to your workpiece with this set of WEN Track Saw Clamps. Simply slide the end of the F-clamp into the matching slot of the track to prevent sliding and slipping during sawing operations. The spacious 2.5 in. Throat fits on workpieces up to 7.5 in. thick. These clamps feature quick release buttons for easy detachment and installation. Their textured pad simultaneously prevents workpiece marring and slippage during operation. The easy-to-use squeeze handles maximize the grip of the clamps, allowing for 1 handed set-up and breakdown. And even though these clamps were designed with the WEN Track Saw system in mind (models CT1065, CT9980, 36027, 36050, 36055), their universal fit is also compatible with the majority of track saw guide rails on the market (0.45 in. x 0.227 in. bar). These clamps are fantastic, and made specifically for the WEN track saw, although they may fit other models. I didn’t think I needed these specially made clamps until I bought the saw and track and realized there’s a groove on the bottom of the track where these are inserted and slide back and forth to lock the track to the workpiece. They work effortlessly and can slide any length of the 100″ track, although I’m sure you’d break the track down if you were working on a shorter piece. These also come in a smaller 6.5″ size, but I stuck with the larger size to give me a bit more room when working with my workpiece and clamping surfaces.
