these drill bits come in all the popular sizes that you might need, they come in a nice alum case, each sleeve in the case which holds the bits, has the sizes of each bit on the front, so you know exactly which bit you are taking, there are three sleeves in the case with the smallest bits first first and the largest last. the bits are nice and strong and should not break after one use, i expect to use these for years to come, great product !

The range of sizes from 1/16 inch to 3/8 inch in 1/64 inch increments will fit the needs of just about any job. The gold oxide maximizes the life-span of the bits by reducing corrosion and heat damage. The set comes in a handy metal case with a window showing the drill bits. The bit sizes are stamped on the holder. The case comes with a hinge allowing the case to be hung on a wall.Used in a portable drill, the bits drilled easily through wood. The chuck on the drill had be well tightened to prevent the bit slipping in the chuck. Once tightened, however, there was no slippage. In a standing drill, the bits worked just fine without slipping. The manufacturer claims that the bits will work on wood, metal, and plastic. The bits were tested on wood only but the expectation is that they will work just fine on the other materials as well.Recommended without reservations.

These bits are excellent. I tested them out on a variety of materials but the most amazing was a 3/16 inch thick steel bar which I drilled a 3/8 inch hole through, in about 30 seconds. The bit generated minimal heat or noise, and at no point did it get stuck. The ONLY thing keeping this from being a 5 star review is the terrible, flimsy metal case the bits come in. It took me a while just to get it opened, because the large bits fall off the back “shelf” in the case and get jammed while you’re opening it. The case also has some flimsy little plastic windows, one of which fell out while I was trying to open the case. I’m not sure why the manufacturer would put these great bits into such a cheap case.

When I saw this Wen 29-Piece Gold Oxide High Speed Steel Twist Drill Bit Set with a metal case that opens and displays all the bits, I wanted it. See attached video. Because all of my 18-piece drill bit in a plastic case have burned tips and/or have broken under heat and pressure in use. Since WEN is known to me as I have some of their other tools, I believe that I will get good service from this set of bits. Attached is a photo of my old bit set with one half of the set left and with the half that is left with burned black tips and missing broken bits next to the new WEN set. I got this set just after burning more bits putting up shelves. If you are like me and drill holes into almost everything and anything and can not remember WEN you had the exact drill bit you needed, then this may be the Bit Set for you.

Wow! What a drill bit set. I have owned several drill bit sets, but this one is by far the most complete. There are more sizes of bits than ever. The smallest is 1/16th and the largest is 3.8. They seem to be extremely well made and are very sharp to the touch. I have used a few of them on different types of materials and they cut quickly and cleanly. I was even able to drill through some heavy duty metal to install a couple of bolts on a project. The bits performed as advertised. I like that they come in a handy case which makes selections on different sizes easy and quick.
