(2), 3/8 in., 1/2 in., 5/8 in., 3/4 in., 7/8 in., 1 in., 1-1/8 in., 1-1/4 in., 1-3/8 in., 1-1/2 in., 1-5/8 in., and 2 in. Dia bits. Each bit uses a 3/8 in. shank and an X-wing design for precision, stability and visibility. The larger bits feature serrated teeth to help dig into workpieces and reduce friction, keeping the blade cool during operation for a cleaner cut. The WEN 14 piece forstner bit set with case is a great set of small to large forstner bits. Forstner bits are great for crafts since they leave a flat hole, great for making yard dice. They are also a lot smoother to use than paddle bits for larger holes. The forstner bit will not twist your wrist like a large paddle bit does making them great for larger holes.I really like the case for 2 reasons. Number one, the case has a large clear window so you can see what’s inside the case, but also has little supports from the window to the bed of the case, holding the window from collapsing. The second thing i like about the case is it does a great job at holding the bits in their slot and free from damage from the window support.The bits cut great making large shavings showing they are sharp. The point on the tip of the center keeps the bit from walking around until the bit is started. This gives you nice clean holes. Thia is a very handy set to have and very easy to use bits. There is a wide use for these bits from crafts like yard dice to a DIY patio umbrella stand, these bits are handy.

WEN 14 Piece Forstner Bit Set. 14 bits plus the carrying case. The carrying case has a clear front so you can see what’s inside and it securely holds the bits in their slots so they don’t hit each other. Sizes are 1/4″ (2) through 2″. 3/8″ shank so they can be used with most drills or drill presses. These bits are used to drill a flat bottomed hole partially through your workpiece. Gives you a very clean hole. There is a small secondary hole caused by the centering guide but that shouldn’t effect the workpiece. Works great for arts & craft projects like wine bottle holder or candle holders. The picture on the Home Depot site doesn’t show all the bits you get and doesn’t show the carrying case. I believe this is a new product.

The best drill set I’ve ever had, very fast and easy to use. I have a post and rail cedar fence and these work well to repair or replace posts. Very good variety all the sizes I need. They drill through wood very fast. I’ve tried them in 3/4″ plywood and a 2″ x 4″ piece of wood and they worked fantastic. I will use them to make my own posts for my fence so I can install led solar lights on the posts

A quality product at a good price. This set contains 14 bits of the most common sizes in a well designed storage case. The bit I used to install European style hinges in oak doors did a nice job, it easily cut the oak and left a smooth surface. I only wish that instead of having two 1/4″ bits that they would have included a 2 1/8 ” bit. I would recommend this product.
