The welding is not aesthetically not high quality, but does the job. All in all, nice and sturdy and I do like the adjustability. I’m using it for a Jet 12” lathe and put a top on stand and secured lathe to top as the holes didn’t line up.

Needed this stand for a different lathe than a Wen….but, it was within specs, so I made the purchase. It came nicely packaged with all the nuts/bolts necessary. Very solid construction. And, beat the competition by $75 (which I applied to a set of wheels). It’s now mobile in my shop.

The lathe stand was for our 12 year old daughter’s lathe. She said the adjustable height is great and made turning pens so much easier.

I needed an adjustable lathe stand for my NOVA Lathe. Shopping around on the internet all the adjustable stands looked identical except for one feature. The feature was the “ Brand Logo” on each of the stands. This was cosmetic to me. The money saved by buying this stand sold me.

Needed another base for a small lathe. Cheaper and fast than making one. Assembled quickly. Nice, sturdy a great value.

I was surprised at the weight of the stand itself, form the pictures I had assumed it would be lighter weight but it has a bit if heft to it. I took a chance and used this as a base for my central machinery 7×10 metal lathe. It actually fit on the base perfectly and I only needed to drill 4 new mounting holes in the chip tray. I have no issues with vibration and I was able to level it easily. as far as assembly I had this together in under 25 minutes taking my time. it sure beats making my own table and takes up a lot less room

Excellent product. Added locking casters so I can move lathe. Stand still provides stable base.

I purchased a used Craftsman’s lathe and it doesn’t have a stand. Because the OEM stand was more than twice as much and lighter duty, it made it easy for me to order this one. The holes don’t quit line up so I had to drill new holes between the elongated ones in the mounting plate in order to mount it. This is a heavy duty stand at 45 lbs .because it’s mostly made out of box steel so it won’t twist. I like the fact that the height is adjustable from 24.5” to 34.5”, I’m taller so I’ll be setting it to the max height. The length is also adjustable from 23.75” to 35.5”, I had to set mine to the max. The base came with the adjustable rubber pads already assembled. My lathe only weights between 65 & 70 lbs so I’m well under the 225 lb. capacity.I would recommend this stand.

The Wen adjustable lathe stand is strong and durable. Most of the parts are made from powder coated box steel with thick welds. The mounting plates on top where a lathe will sit have long slots in two places and a single hole on each side for a center point mount. I used the stand with a Wen 3420 lathe. The stand is both height (24.5 – 34.5) and width (23.75 – 35.5 inches) adjustable. Powder coating was consistently applied. Instructions talk about mounting the feet to the bottom of the stand but mine were already mounted. Assembly was straight forward and required a couple of wrenches or a socket set.My one complaint was they welded the angled feet only on three sides. This is because they wanted the upright part to bolt on flush. My issue is that one of the feet had the three components slightly misaligned causing a small gap between pieces. I don’t think this impacts functionality and it is completely covered by the vertical piece so it is only noticeable before assembly.I wish the adjustable vertical components had three sides for the entire length. Instead they only have three sides for 6-3/4 of the total 12-1/2 length. This is partially because they would hit the mounting bolts of the horizontal bar. I say partially because they could have made the three sides longer and stopped them right above the bolt mount. This is important because if you have the vertical adjustment at max, there are only two sides on the beam and it causes the top mount plates to tilt until the bolts are tightened. This can lead to the top plates not being level.Once the stand was assembled and I mounted the lathe to it, the entire product was rock solid. When I spun the lathe up to max, even with a piece of wood that was out of balance, the stand did not move from its original position. There are stands that have casters for movement which with the tap of a foot lever can be raised off the floor allowing the stand to not move. I think the addition of this kind of caster would make this product outstanding.

225# Height and Length Adjustable Wood Lathe Stand. Well packaged for shipping. Heavy duty steel construction and nice looking coating. Mounting feet came already installed but needed to be adjusted to sit flat on floor. Shape of legs and weight give the stand good stability. I will use this stand for my WEN wood lathe but I need to wait to get some help moving the assembly to its final resting place. Quite heavy combination. Length and height can be adjusted. I’d recommend figuring out your height before assembly and them set and tighten all bolts. Leave the length adjustment bolts slight loose until you mount the lathe so you can make small adjustment to have all the holes line up. Then tighten everything. Lathe to stand hardware not included. As I do with most of my tools, I download the instructions from the WEN website to my tablet so I always have a copy.

Excellent adjustable steel lathe stand made by WEN. Let me first start off by saying I am becoming a huge fan of WEN products. They are made of strong, durable and quality construction, parts are well lubricated/greased up and assembly is very straight forward. I own a WEN lathe so I figured this stand would be a great addition. Again, assembly was very easy with the provided instructions. Be sure to follow the instructions to determine the appropriate height setting you will want to set. Also, refer to your lathe instructions, or measure the distance between the mounting screws so you know how wide to set the stand. Each rubber foot on the stand is adjustable allowing you to make the lathe completely level. Only thing I wish this stand would have included was simple fasteners to attach the lathe. I realize that the stand is compatible with just about any brand lathe, but fasteners with dimensions to the WEN lathe would have saved me an additional trip to the box store. All in all, I highly recommend this lathe stand!!
