I needed it to finish a 5/8” deep slot in cedar for colonic board plastic shields. It worked great – didn’tplug up, fed evenly, ran cool, did not break. Fantastic bit

I actually have a CNC in my garage (shapeoko XXL) and needed this size bit. I but it in the router and started cutting like a champ. The flutes are really sharp and no wobble at all. I have been making and cutting out all kind of wood working projects with this shanks and I really could not be happier with how sharp it is and how well it cuts. I’ll definitely buy more!

Product worked very well for cabinet work in mdf and ply. Single flute design and the blades worked well (remained sharp) in materials we were working in.

This 3/16″ carbide tipped route bit came very well packed during shipping. It is very easy to use and cuts hard wood with no issues whatsoever. I also have the 3/8″ carbide tipped router bit as well and it is the same high grade quality. Having a dependable bit to use while using on wood makes life so much easier. I’m sure this bit will last a very long time.

WEN 3/16 inch straight router bitThis is a straight 1-flute carbide tipped router bit with a 1/4 in shank. I’m impressed with the strength and quality of this bit. The 1/4 inch shank fits securely in my router. It routes a nice clean cut. The carbide tip is strong and sharp. The container that it comes in holds the shank securely and the cap keeps the bit from touching anything while storing or carrying it. I’m very happy with this bit.

This little router bit is made by Wen which i did not know Wen made them. They seem to have gotten the design right as this little bit cuts like a charm!! It is very sharp and i used it to test cut some grooving which it did so easily and clean. Being only a single flute though, i do not believe i will be using it for great lengths at a time without letting it cool a little. I have a couple of new lock sets and hinge holes i will be cutting and this will fit the task greatly.

This is one of those router bits that isn’t needed frequently, but when you do need it, there’s not a substitute. I had previously tried making a ⅛” cut by adjusting my table saw blade, but that was a very hit and miss attempt. Now when I’m working on small objects with a tight joinery, this bit will do the job with precision. With my router attached to my bench top table, I can adjust the depth and distance from the wall and it will make my cuts perfectly and easily. Handy bit for the job.

Razor router sharp bit with no tear out. The bit is perfect for small detail work and small areas. The standard shank size bit fits all 1/4 inch router collets. I’ve never bought this brand before but given the price point and the quality, I will look for it more often the future. Plus it comes in a nice case to store it in and keep it in top shape.

For the price, this is hard to beat. I actually use a 1/8″ bit a lot for inlay banding. This isn’t the cleanest cutting bit I own, but it is by far the least expensive. I use this at the rough milling stage so I don’t need super clean cuts, as long as there is no significant chipping I’m good. If you don’t have room for a little clean up. take super light passes and lower the speed a bit. This is the fault of a single flute but unless you want a spiral bit, there isn’t much you can do about that in a 1/8″ bit. The most important thing is it is true to size. I’ve run about 60 feet of various North American hardwoods over this and so far there has been no decrease in performance.

Pleasantly surprised – I’m very particular about my router bits and have many. I was skeptical about this bit due to the price point and the single cutting head (many have two cutting surfaces). But I was very impressed for several reasons. The bulk of my router bits are Diablo/Frued but I still have some old Ryobi’s so those are my benchmarks. First, it cut much more smoothly than I expected. I had little resistance and could move through material faster than I thought. I used this bit to cut a channel for splines to go between a laminated plywood cabinet top and the maple facial board and it cut through the plywood easily. This cut as well as my 3/16″ dual flute Diablo but with a single cutting head. Noise Level – this bit was significantly quieter than my 1/4″ dual fluted Ryobi. Granted there is a size difference but I noticed a massive difference in noise. I did not use this and the Diablo side-by-side for a noise comparison but I think the WEN is quieter (if memory serves me right).Blade/Cutting Head – after cutting about 40 linear feet through plywood I have not noticed any dulling, With this price point I half expected a single-use bit that I would have to replace frequently. But so far I have been proven wrong. Overall, I have been very impressed with this router bit. It has cut and performed well, was quieter than expected, and is holding up well. I think that the quality of this WEN router bit is better than the Ryob* and at about the same price point.
