This is a high quality, well made router bit. I first noticed the quality when I inserted it in my router chuck. It is a snug but not too-tight fit. Some of my lesser router bits fall to the bottom of the chuck. This perfect fit makes it easier to get it tight so it won’t slip and also so it’s not so hard to insert and remove,The quality of the carbide cutting flanks in also very good. It cuts evenly and cleanly. I primarily use it to cut notches in the side of boards but it should work equally well against a straight edge and providing slots for shelves, slides, etc. I highly recommend this bit.

This 3/8″ router bit is very strong and durable. It cuts easily through very hard woods that I have had to use it on. I do a lot of wood working type projects or just making things from scratch and this router bit has been very durable and dependable. I would purchase it again should this one ever break, however, I do believe it will last for a very long time.

The 3/8 straight 2 fluted carbide router bit from Wen worked well with my router table. It cut flawlessly and is still sharp after many uses The quality of this high speed steel carbide router bit is quite good. I have used many other router bits that were more expensive and this router bit cuts just as well. It is a great addition to my collection of bits.

Set up my router table and made 2 projects so far. My wife wanted to frame some vintage needlework artwork but the sizes wouldn’t work with premade picture frames. Using this bit, I routed out the edges of some 1X2 pine stock, stained them to match our décor and could make any size frame she needed. Happy wife. I also used this bit to cut a channel in a 2×4 about 5 ft long so it would slide up onto the pinch weld of the rocker panel of my unibody cars so I could create a safe jacking point that would allow me to raise the whole side of the car with a floor jack without damaging the car. Works great at protecting the car by spreading the load.

WEN Carbide-Tipped Router Bit 3/8 Straight This is a straight 2-flute carbide tipped router bit with 1/4 inch shank. This appears to be a sharp, strong, quality router bit. It came in a plastic case that holds the single bit securely for storage if you like. It is very sharp, the 1/4 shank fits securely in my router. I’ve very happy with this bit.
