This Wen 90-degrees 3/4 in. Deep V-Groove Carbide Tipped Router Bit with a 1/4 in. shank combines dual-fluke carbide cutters that are deep and very sharp. My 2.25hp plunge router had no issues creating 12″ V-groove channels in decorative oak hard wood trim. After many linear feet of routing, I find the carbide tips show no wear or dullness, leaving the wood routed edges clean and precise!

this router bit worked well for my needs. I used it for engraving letters into a piece of 2x. This handled the workpiece just fine, with the cordless router I had I was able to change the speed as necessary to make sure the bit could handle the workpiece. This router bit comes in a small case that I love. This is great because it gives me a storage case when going from site to site. Even though this was a v bit, the case was large enough to accommodate my 1″ flush bit, so the case fits various size bits as well. I would definitely recommend this bit

The router bit looks good and I have given it try on my router table. The cut is nice a smooth and well defined, everything one would expect from a very good router bit. I have gotten some in the past from other vendors that didn’t cut as well or I had to make multiple passes to get the profile I wanted. Just remember to take off a little at a time, trying to take a lot all at once will just frustrate you and wear out the bit.

I use this bit for routing and my CNC machine. It has a high quality finish and is packaged well so that the brittle carbide is protected during shipping. Checked with a low end micrometer, the measurements are accurate. I used this on MDF with some minor tear out at high speeds. Wen is not a name brand known for router bits, but I have several of the brand’s power tools which have been of good value and expect the same from their accessories. Their website is at https://wenproducts.com/collections/router-bits. I only wish they had router and CNC information for speeds and feed rates.

My laser point vbit was getting dull so I just happened on this Wen vbit. The price was right and when I received it I noticed that it was every bit as sharp as my laser point bit so I put it to the test and ran it continuously for an hour on a project and by the time I was finished, I touched the bit, (once it stopped spinning) and it was just slightly warm after all the cutting it did. I use it in a CNC machine. It is less expensive than the laser point bit, so I can purchase more than one at a time. Great item, great price!

This is a great router bit. The v-groove cut is really smooth and precise. I generally rely on multiple passes to get my cuts and that is how I used this as well. The finish is perfect each pass and there is a nice amount of carbide so I think this will last. The bit also comes in a little case which is great for storage. Nothing worse than damaging a bit because it was not stored properly.
