On first inspection you will notice the “Attention To Detail” in the grind of the Carbide tipped blades on this router bit. The Wen 1/2 inch flush trim router bit has worked well for my trimming needs. The professional -grade high speed steel carbide tipped router bit has stayed sharp after many uses. The cut was exact and flush. I have used many other types of router bits and this works just as well and is less expensive. I do like the three wing design as it gives a much better finish.

Three (3) carbide cutting edges reduce vibration and wood burn.The 1/4″ shank is precision ground and fit my router collet easily and stays secure. I only buy carbide bits as they last many times longer than standard steel.I like the full 1″ flute length. It makes adjusting easier and allows for single pass trimming and pattern cutting. When it comes to pattern cutting the 1/2″ diameter bit smoothly cuts what the installed bearing follows. Great for rounding over corners with corner templates. Also perfect for trimming formica edges in table tops as the carbide easily stands up to constant use.Great for edge planning boards before glue up to create larger boards.

I am very surprised with the quality of this WEN flush trim bit! The carbide blade are VERY sharp and straight which means minimal or no sanding needed depending on your work piece. The bearing rolls easily and has zero wobble. The bearing is not sealed so there is a chance that small particles can get in there and cause it to jam up eventually, but that should not deter you from buying it. For the quality you’re getting for the price, this is an excellent buy. Highly recommended.

The router bit was super sharp and I noticed right when I opened the small case for it. It worked great for a countertop job I was doing and the wheel bearing on it rolls really smooth and glided really good. The roller is really flush with the actual cutting it does and I even used it on a jig and it didn’t mess up my jig. I’ve done a couple jobs with it and it’s still sharp. Really trimmed up nicely anything I needed it to. The shank and everything is great and I didn’t have any problems doing anything it was intended for so far.
