The Wen model VC4710 Portable Wet/Dry Utility Vacuum Is a very capable and powerful Vacuum in a small and easy to store package. It has a five-gallon capacity and it is rated for both wet and dry pick-up without any need to reconfigure it. Inside is a surprisingly large HEPA F9, 3 Micron filter, that I would have expected only in a larger capacity Vacuum. This assures a long use between cleanings, and it helps control fine particles from being reintroduced into the air, which is an important health and housekeeping consideration. The “bigger is better “argument does not always apply to appliances you have to use in domestic spaces, especially on multi-level homes. I have a big 20 gallon Vacuum that is perfect for the garage and shop on the lower level, where wood chips and metal filings accumulate like snow, but it has no place nor could I manage to get it easily into the upstairs family area, vacuum a staircase with it or vacuum out the car with it. For jobs like that, this lightweight, easy to tote little 10 Amp powerhouse is perfect, with its perfectly centered and balanced carry handle. This is a well-designed and reliable Vacuum that the Home Depot stocks along with many others to choose from as a feature item, and they support all of them very well, with a wide selection of replacement filters, as well as hose and vacuum tools on the shelf to meet all of your needs. All of the provided attachments that come with this Vacuum that make it ready to go and fully capable are excellent quality, and I especially like the clever way that all of them attach securely to the Vacuum tank for compact storage in a closet. The tank sits on generously sized swivel wheels, so it walks along with you with little effort, without tipping over easily. The unit comes with a thorough, well-illustrated operating manual that explains the easy, occasional maintenance and cleaning procedures. It also includes a very much appreciated detailed replacement parts page with all of those sometimes hard to find and confirm part numbers that come up from time to time with things you purchase. I have a plastic milk crate tucked away on a shelf in the garage, where I file the operating guides for just about everything I buy, and it keeps everything operating if a problem comes up with something I would rather fix than replace.

It’s okay for the price. Good suction, but the attachments tend to come off unexpectedly. Messy to empty and clean. I like the wheels. It’s VERY basic and loud, but again, the price was right.

For the homeowner looking for the power of a shop vac but something that won’t take up the space of the usual shop vac this Wen vacuum fits the bill. It’s compact size is it’s best feature, it can fit in the back of a closet or be hidden in the corner of your garage very easily. It’s less than 2′ tall and 1′ wide. Comes with all the attachments you’d want, and nice part is they all have spots on the body of the vacuum to be stored. As far as power it sucked up everything my larger shop vac can handle, but obviously the volume it can handle will be less. Nice little touch is the power button is under a clear soft plastic cover to keep dirt and water out. And the handle flips up and down.

I love this new WEN Shop Vac….maybe even more so than my upright. It took only a few minutes to assemble the unit, and it was ready to do the job. I vacuumed a hard floor first, then tested it on a carpeted floor. The suction is remarkable. It got up even the smallest debris. I have lots of cats that live inside, and it grabbed up every bit of dust and cat hair that I could see. Very well designed, and all of the 5 foot hose can be stored inside the vacuums body. The HEPA filter is really an added bonus, and much appreciated. It really does clean well, and with very little effort. IT includes 2 extension tubes, a utility nozzle, and a crevice tool. I barely had to bend over because I used both extensions at the same time. I most definitely recommend this new WEN Shop Vac to interested Home Depot shoppers.

I tried a few brands before finding this wen but just wasn’t satisfied with the power of them or the build quality for the cost. I knew WEN made some pretty high quality tools so I decided to give it a shot and I was not disappointed. The power of this vacuum surpasses any of the others I’ve tried and it’s very sturdy. My only complaint is that the power cord is on the short side and it would be nice to have a hook or something on the canister to wrap the cord around. If you want something portable and powerful I highly recommend this.

This little sucker is all right! I got my WEN 10 AMP 5 GAL. VACUUM for my bench sander as the bucket vac was okay but really not doing its job. The WEN does the job! The WEN Vac is a bit bigger than the bucket vac, but has a good deal more power (3 times more power, if I did my math right).The WEN Vac comes with attachments so you can vacuum the floor and those hard-to-reach crevices. It even has wheels you can assemble yourself if you want it to follow you around your shop, like R2D2, if that droid vacuumed.

Another great product by WEN. It’s teally Awesome when I am working on smaller projects around my house, doing heavy cleaning, or wanting to clean my car in the driveway. I find myself having to drag out a very large shop vac. This shop vac is a great size at 5 gallons it’s small enough to easily move around on its four wheels yet is impressively powerful both in suction and using as a light blower when needed. It is very well constructed using high quality materials I really love that the hose is transparent so that you can see if anything gets clogged in it. It does also come with a variety of attachments and I really like the one that is a flat head which is similar to a typical traditional vacuum. it really did a great job picking up some material on an outside deck and porch because of its retractable brush head. This is a great supplemental Shop-Vac for projects around you are home or project site and I would highly recommend

Great for the price, this product works well, not as strong as I thought it would be, but good enough for now. I would like to have seen more attachments and a longer cord, and would have paid a few dollars more for that, but this will do ok for now.
