Her handle finally broke over the years, but she was still using it! She absolutely loves this popcorn machine and I’m sure will use it many more years to come. I’m thinking of getting one myself! It’s super lightweight and very easy to use.

We’d had a first gen Stir Crazy for years. The dome had cracked, the Bakelite on the plug had cracked, but it had popped a lot of popcorn. The cracked plug was the reason to retire it. This new one is more convenient. The dome/base nesting makes it much easier to store. It pops just as well as the old one. Hopefully, the attached cord turns out to be more reliable, too.

This is my 2nd Stir Crazy popper. It has some significant improvements over my older one (which is still in operation after more than 25 years). This one is easier to store (flip the lid and place popper inside of it), easier management of the power cord, and a convenient and necessary on/off switch. This one is AMAZINGLY easy to clean as well. And most importantly, it still makes the best popcorn! Much tastier than microwave corn and you are in charge of your own sodium levels. I have only owned it for a few weeks, and only used it once so far, but love it as much as my older one. The only reason I removed a star was because it leaves a few more unpopped kernels than my older one. But even that is not a detriment, as the older one popped ALL the kernels. This popper leaves the same amount you would expect if you were using an air popper or popping corn on the stove. I love this popper and would buy it again and would recommend it to my family and friends. It makes a lot and pops quickly, so even if you were making multiple batches for a crowd it would be ready in no time.
