Have owned several West Bend slow cookers! This is the same dependability that the others have proven. However I wish they had a better inside surface that doesn’t chip off. That’s the only reason I replace them!

This updated version of the West Bend slow cooker is so much nicer than the the older ones I’ve had and used for years. Wore them out from constant use! I love that is a more sturdy pan and the unit it sets on is nicer. Wonderful glass lid with a knob…much easier to use than the previous lids. Im so happy to have a slow cooker again and have used it twice already. Was happy to find a setting for the griddle! This is an improvement.

This cooker is fantastic! In the short time that I’ve had it, I’ve slow cooked two meals, used the base to prepare grilled cheese sandwiches and also French toast (ideal for smaller portions). This cooker is easy to clean by hand or inside the dishwasher.

Although functionality was what I expected, I was disappointed that there were no handles and metal does conduct heat. I also found that the paint color on the outside chipped easily and became discolored on the bottom with the first use.

I got my first 41 years ago as a wedding gift and bought my second 20 years later and both still work perfectly. I’ve given many as wedding gifts explaining why they are far superior to crockpots. Meat can be browned making it a truly one dish meal and so many settings let’s me get it done in a few hours or let it cook all day without being overdone!

Crockpot makes a clicking sound this might be normal. Crock pot does not cook on low just keeps food warm. Love this style Compared to other crockpots that vase comes in and out. Old school crock pots are the best for cooking slow no worries.

I bought this a month ago to use for just the two of us. My old West Bend slow cooker went to our vacation home. It is still functional after 20 years of use. The new one does so many more features to include griddle, carry case and kettle. But it did not lose the charm of smaller size we have with our old unit. We love it!

The first time I used the cooker, I put it in the oven, I read directions, said glass cover can go in 350 oven, the knob melted, I had to immediately send for another. I was terribly disappointed, not too happy.

I purchased this product to replace an old, large WestBend Slow Cooker. I have used it once, with completely satisfactory results.

My Mother gave me a West Bend Oblong slow cooker the first Christmas after I got married. It was a 4 qt. cooker and I loved it because if was the perfect size for My husband and me. When it died I immediately googled West Bend and ordered a new one. I couldn’t be happier and will bequeath it to my granddaughter!

My Mother had a westbend years ago and when she passed I was lucky enough to receive the slow cooker. I used it till the bottom fell off literally !!! I had an old large crock pot I began to use and it was so heavy that I just had to get another westbend I will never go back to a crock pot. I LOVE my westbend!!!!

I used to have a smaller version of this slow cooker but it conked out after about 20 years. I wish this had come in a smaller size as there are only 2 of us but I like how the pan is easy to wash and can be used on the stovetop or oven as well. I’m old school so appreciate that you have just basic settings without anything digital or a probe. Cooks great. Didn’t need the tote and don’t think it adds value.
