Works very well. Blades are wicked sharp and you really need the glove to handle them. Pay attention to the thickness of your meat; too thick (>1.25 in.) and it will jam.Cleaning up is easy.

Very easy to assemble! Love how easy the product works but be careful the blade is defiantly sharp. Cleaning the product was easy but I wish it had come with a brush to clean the chute with. If you are a jerky maker this is a must have tool!

I have used this to make several batches of deer jerky. Longer pieces of meat are best. It does create strips that are very consistent and make the dehydrating process much easier. No more taking some out and leaving some in for a few more hours. Cleaning the blades is the only reason not 5 stars. Blades are very sharp and not easy to clean–use caution.
