The Weston 6-Tray Digital Food Dehydrator is the perfect tool to preserve foods for later use. Use to dry the season’s harvest for meats, making jerky and a variety of snacks. Ideal for making banana chips, fruit rollups, dried herbs, fruits and vegetables. The adjustable digital thermostat lets you adjust the drying temperature from 100-160°, and has a 48-hour timer with automatic shut off. The continuous air flow provides even drying for better taste. Includes one fine-mesh sheet for drying small foods like herbs, and one solid sheet for making fruit roll ups.

First dehydrator I’ve bought and had limited experience with them. Wanted to make beefy jerky and found this on sale. I can say from my use that it dehydrates evenly and effectively. Rotation racks helps too. I can do 3 pounds of beefy cut in 1/4 strips in 5-6 hours with 5 racks. It has info in the manual to guide you if you looking to do fruit and other things. Racks are dishwasher safe but recommends not using heated dry as could get too hot for plastic trays. The digital display and controls and simple and easy to use. Set time and temp, you’re good to go.

This dehydrator works good. I like that you can set a timer for how long you want it to run and that you can adjust the temperature. I like that the trays fit in my sink to wash them. I was expecting the dehydrator to be a little bigger, however it fits on my counter and in my cupboard just perfect.

It works really good but it doesn’t give any directions on how to make jerky .. just the preparation . There’s no time or temperature on how long to dehydrate to make jerky
