I did a fair amount of research before choosing this model as a gift for my adult son. He burned up his old under powered one trying to slice Deer meat for jerky. This Weston Realtree looks like the deli professional models just not as large. The 200-watt motor is more powerful in comparison to all the other slicers I looked at and should get the job done. The included camouflage cover is a nice touch.
