I was replacing a 6″ vise that I lost in a fire, but I couldn’t find the same one so I ordered this after shopping around. It’s OK – not as massive as I had expected. The handle is kind of wimpy for a 6″ vise. I may try to replace it with a longer one.

I love this vise! I bought it to work on some projects around the house. However, recently I ran into an issue where I couldn’t de-couple two pipes. This vise was able to grip one pipe without slipping while I de-coupled it. It’s larger than I expected but fits well on my workbench. I would definitely recommend this vise.
