I bought these to replace battery terminals on my truck. They cut through the thick cable with ease. They are very sharp and there is plenty of leverage. Perfect for what I needed them.

I needed cutters to clean cut a 1/4 inch stainless steel cable. The Home Depot employee recommended this tool for my application. Unfortunately, the cutters were not able to cut a 1/4 diameter. Bolt cutters did not work either. I ended up using a chisel, but the cut flattened and frayed the cable some. I think the cutters are just not designed for stainless steel at 1/4 inch. They work fine on smaller diameters.

The cutter was easy to use. The was also quite competitive. Good buy

These cable cutters do the job well. They are made by Wiss, a company that has made great metal shear pliers for many years. The best part is they are half the cost of the other brands.

Cut thru #2 insulated copper wire with ease!

Worth every penny. The only thing I don’t like is the small opening on them. But they cut through thick wire with ease.

Haven’t used them yet but feel great.

Ergonomically well designed and very durable. These will last a life time.

They cut ok. The handles and gris just are not comfortable to use all day

Did the job, just needs a little more leverage, but you won’t be disappointed.

Looks to be an adequate tool for my purposes, which is to but welding cable for use as battery cables. It won’t receive a lot of use so I didn’t need to go top of the line. Blades are sharp and I don’t force any twisting at the pivot which renders any cutter worthless.

cuts well just wish jaws would open wide without widening handles way out.

Purchased this item for work, and was at a great value compared to all the other brands on the shelf. I informed my co-workers of the price and were surprised of the value. I’ve used this daily since my purchase, and it cuts large cables very well. It’s new & sharp, so it was expected to cut well. I’m sure with good up-keep, this will last as long as any other brand.
