Just the tool that was needed to handle cutting of heavy steel bands. Every cut was clean and all took a little effort to make.

These Wiss 9.75″ snips work great. I used them to modify commercial air conditioning duct work. These are stronger than my older snips and cut through heavier gauge metal.

Wasn’t able to cut any 16 ga metal with this. I’ve used similar in the past and they all fall short. Time for a new design and cheaper guys. Its just a pair of snips~

Snips performed as advertised. They were a little difficult to cut through metal, but finally cut the items. Would recommend to everyone!

So far so good. I bought these snips to cut through drip edge on a roofing project. There is one drip edge installed over another and these cut through both with relative ease. Made in USA.

The snips performed excellent. They make clean precise cuts. Like cutting a sheet of paper.

These snips worked very well on thick steel. I assume the blade on these is so short because they are designed to cut up to 16 gauge steel, which I did. When making cuts longer than about 1″, or the length of the blade a straight blade like this becomes problematic. Home Depot did not carry an offset version of this tool, if it even exists, which would have made my particular job easier.
