The CRESCENT WISS® Single Ring Shears feature full-length steel blades that extend through the handles for maximum strength. These heavy-duty blades have a titanium coating that is 3 times harder than steel for extra durability and a longer blade life. I have many pairs of scissors and this pair is one of my favorite. They keep their edge and are very easy to use. I have bad hands and find normal scissors quickly hurt my hands. The serrated edge makes them durable but might be an issue if you need to make a flush cut. Most of the scissors I have cost many time the amount of these. You can’t find better scissors for less.

These are a larger version of the Wiss heavy duty scissors that I purchased a few years ago. These things work great, and for a general/commercial scissor I believe these are some of the best tools for the money that are on the market. I have found that these can cut anything from tissue paper to cardboard with ease. Plastic sheet and rubber material up to 1/16″ thick is fair game for these shears.These were purchased in-store at Home Depot, and I am now a proud owner of the 2″ and 4″ size of these shears.

I’m happy to find this shear after a long search for my various cutting needs. It was easy to cut around a circle and to maneuver when the starting point of a cut is angled. The grip is shaped for both right and left hand users which was a plus since I can use both hands when a cutting area is tight angles or on certain corners that may be easier to cut right by changing my hands.
