I love this trimmer. I have tried gas trimmers, and the maintenance that goes with that is too much for me. Buy a battery trimmer and try it out. Better yet buy this one. The only complaint I have is that the batteries don’t last long enough. It’s long enough to do 1/4 acre but it starts to weaken at the end.

I have always owned gas powered trimmers from Toro. I bought this battery one to try to simplify my life a little. Surprisingly, the battery power is good and lasts enough to edge and trim. The push button feeder is great. However this is a single line trimmer and the string does not last. I had to reload the string twice to finish my yard. This is totally unacceptable as I spend twice as long to trim my yard.

This is the second Worx string trimmer I bought…and the second one that snapped in two at the middle of the aluminum tube frame. Be careful as you try to change the angle of the cutting head. you cannot put pressure on the aluminum frame as it is just light tubing and will snap in two. See photo.

This item was so easy to put together, and was actually FUN to use! The adjustments that you can make with this item allows people of all heights to use.
