I bought this hedge trimmer end of Sept 2020. It is well made and works well. It is light weight. I gave it a 3 star rating instead of 4 or 5 bc I think it would be easier to use if you could turn it on ( locked in the ON position)& it’s ready to go with use of one hand. For safety reasons I need my other hand on the ladder. If you are only trimming waist high or smaller bushes it is an excellent tool.

Put this hedge trimmer through its paces and it never faltered. Cut through 3/8-1/2” branches no trouble. Smaller foliage was a breeze. Was able to finish the job with one battery with plenty of remaining power. Only two problems 1. Attaching the handle required a bit of arm strength 2. It was so easy to use that I kept cutting to “even” out the look. Luckily, the shrub grows.

With my other lawn tools, I go thru a couple of batteries each time I mow. I expected to get half of the hedge cut and need to stop for a recharge. Instead, one battery did the entire hedge. Advertising is a little optimistic on what it will cut. Just because the opening in the blade is 3/4 doesn’t mean it will cut 3/4 inch. It requires a sawing action to cut bigger branches.
