Blower good, vacuum failed after two hours of use, very disappointed

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Bought to pickup and mulch fallen leaves around the pool now that surrounding area is all beach stones. Vacuum is quite large and feels heavy after a while. You need to attach and adjust the shoulder strap, once done the inlet tube hangs just above the ground. Simply need to slowly swing opening back and forth over the leaves. Works effortlessly once properly adjusted.

I haven’t had any problems as of yet, I have a few pecan trees, and several other trees surrounding my property. That said, my property has a lot of leaves and it hasn’t been maintained for a while and the tri-vac is a huge help. The only thing I would suggest is that a shoulder strap should come with the product. It shouldn’t be an accessory you have to buy, because it gets a little heavy.

I unboxed it expecting to have to put some things together but it was really just snapping on one attachment and it was ready to go. It did a great job and was so easy to use. It’s jammed up one time but, just like the instruction said, I snapped off the bag cleaned out the shoot which took about five seconds, snapped it back on and get back to work. I wish I had this years ago.

This is my seventh WORX tool and it is a valuable addition to my collection! My other WORX purchases are cordless but the TRIVAC is easy to navigate with the cord. The blower has 2 speed settings and the high setting could blow a sailboat through the Panama canal. The vacuum also has 2 speed settings which makes leaf removal in mulched beds much easier. The 16 to 1 leaf mulch reduction is no exaggeration, mulched leaves are easy to spread in beds and around plants. The bag attachment is very simple unlike my previous vacuum/blower. The area around our pool and landscape are easy to keep tidy with the TRIVAC.

I have mature maple and apple trees and while vacuuming isn’t extremely fast, it is easy and effectively mulches leaves to greatly reduce the number bags to fill. It’s also great for areas around shrubs, railings and garden trestles where it is impractical or impossible to rake.

I received my TRIVAC this week (Thanksgiving 2020) and put it to use the next day. Clear instructions. Seems like a hefty manufactured piece. I already had the battery powered leaf blower from Worx but this corded model does seem to blow at a higher rate than the battery model…makes sense but the cord is a bit of a pain. Vacuum mode also worked well. I am still learning how “stick free” the leaves need to be in order not to jam the unit. Biggest drawback for me (hence only 3 stars) is the weight. When I saw in the specs that it weighed “only” 8.6 pounds, I thought that I could handle it. My 20 volt Worx battery blower weighs only 4pounds. Silly me to think that twice the weight would not present a challenge. I am a 74 years old retired Navy Captain in decent shape. I still mow my yard (takes about 1.5 hours) with a push mower and go to the gym. I am 5’8″ and had to stoop a bit to allow the wide mouth tube to get close to the leaves. After about 20 minutes the stooping and the weight got to me! The strap on the bag is nice. The unit could be improved with a slightly longer tube and a strap to let the upper body carry the weight of the unit. I would recommend it to a younger, fitter person. I am so happy I bought this, makes cleaning up my yard so much easier.

Just what I needed to pick up debris from my rock landscaping. I especially like the 2-speed feature.

Definitely recommend, it’s a work horse! First day out and used it consistently for a good 3-4hrs switching between blower and vac. Vac does a great job of sucking up only leaves, which is important since we live in the high desert with lots of various size rocks in the landscaping. Also doesn’t suck up the dog waste which is a definite bonus as they like to use the leaves. Mulched at least 4 large yard bags of leaves down to about a 1/2 bag. Machine didn’t fuss or complain at any point. Leaps and bounds above the B&D product purchased earlier this year, that didn’t last even one season and was approx the same cost.

I bought this so I wouldn’t have to rake there leaves. I haven’t had a chance to use it yet because everybody else in the house has volunteered to do it for me.It’s features are simple to understandand. Even grandpa handles it with ease.

I purchased this item so I could vacuum the leaves and we have lots, out of my flower beds (hostas, lillies, Blue Veronica, etc.) and it works! The blower is very powerful and that works great as well. However, it is a bit heavy for me and dragging an electrical cord around has it’s challenges.

I bought this tool about a month ago and because i live in Minnesota was snow on top of the leaves, i wait 2 week till the snow melted after that i used and i was really impressed the way it works was wonderful my yard is now super clean and ready for more snow…Thanks Worx I’m really happy

I bought this late in the season so I was only able to test of “small” wet piles. I understand now why there isn’t a cordless version. It has met or exceeded my expectations. I should have purchased this sooner.

I’m finally able to get every leaf in my garden without taking or blowing the mulch all over the place. Powerful for an electric appliance

Our home has over 100 trees on our property. That’s a lot of leaves to deal with. The TRIVAC has been very impressive handling my piles of leaves. It has strong vacuuming capabilities as well as a forceful blower. The leaf collection bag is easy to use, connect and disconnect. The unit mulches the leaves into tiny pieces. I’m very happy with it!
