This is a large blower that is slightly on the heavy side. The best suggestion would be to wear ear protection while using it. There is little question as to its ability to blow lose stuff around the yard. Be it leaves, grass, paper, or some other crud that is in your path. Just switch it on, aim it, and watch things swirl around in a gust of air.
