Just squeeze the red dual chuck release button and press the head against your arm or leg to switch it over. Easy-peasy. With 12 torque settings, up to a max of 265 in-lbs, you can find just the right amount of torque for the job, and not worry about stripping screws or damaging the project surface. And with two speeds, 0-400 revs/min, 0-1500 revs/min, you have the flexibility and power to finish any common drilling application. The design is genius. You save so much time not having to chuck and un-chuck the drill bits and drivers. Also, you don’t have to keep track of the bits and drivers because they stay in the drill.

Bought this drill in spite of a couple of “Ho-Hum” reviews and I’m glad that I did. I have an aging set of Dewalt drill & driver that are still great, but I wanted something with a bit more finess. Also, I was interested in the concept of a drill with 2 chucks. I am getting too old to change drill bits on a ladder. The Switch-Driver has so far proven to be surprisingly good and surprisingly handy. At this point, I give it an easy five stars.
