Drill a pilot hole, switch, and drive in the fastener, then do it again, and again, without ever switching out a bit. The Switchdriver is a two-headed drill/driver that gives you instant access to your two favorite bits at all times. You don’t need two separate drills lying around. And you don’t need to fumble with bits anymore. You can just rotate the head to the next bit when you have the Worx 20V Power Share Switchdriver 2-in-1. Plus, it’s packed with more features: 12 torque control settings let you select the perfect amount of torque for the job at hand, up to a max of 265 in-lbs. The 2-speed control enables you to go from 0-400 revs/min or 0-1500 revs/min. The max drilling capacity is 3/8” in steel and 1-3/16” for wood. And you can even rotate the head with one hand while you keep your other hand on the project. (You just squeeze the red dual chuck release button and use your thigh or forearm to push over the head to the next bit.) This Switchdriver doesn’t come with a battery, but that’s by design. It makes this model less-expensive because if you already have a Power Share battery or two at home, you don’t need to pay more for a tool with another battery. Power Share batteries are interchangeable with every tool on the platform.
- [TWO BITS AT ONCE] Easily and instantly alternate between two bits on the innovative Switchdriver head. Drill a pilot hole then the screw, all without switching tools or bits
- [STRIP-PROOF] Automatic torque control stops you from stripping screws. It also prevents you from damaging the surface of the project
- [SHARE BATTERIES, SAVE MONEY] Worx Power Share is compatible with all Worx 20v and 40v tools, outdoor power and lifestyle products
- [2 SPEEDS] Variable gear train lets you go slow for backing out or drilling into tricky materials, or fast for driving your screws home
- [JUST PRESS THE BUTTON] Switch between the alternating ¼” chucks just by pressing a button. The heads rotate 180-degrees and you get a whole new tool without having to get down from the ladder
- [LED WORK LIGHT] Work in dark or dusty spaces with the trigger-activated LED light. An illuminated workspace is a safe and efficient workspace
- [LIGHTWEIGHT, COMPACT] At just 2.75 lbs., you can use the Switchdriver all day without strain. At that weight, you can maneuver into high and tough to reach spaces

I have added another worx piece of equipment to my rapidly growing inventory. A little smaller than expected, but overall a good size for what I need it for. Nice to have its versatility.

the first thing I used my Drill/Driver for was to use on my travel Trailer. It had a lot of power to raise my leveler’s (4). one level had been bent slightly, but it raised it easily!

This is a replacement for a previous swithdriver that I used so much and for tasks that were really beyond it’s capabilities that I finally broke it. I still love the tool and will be more careful with this new one.

This is the best drill I have ever had. I have had many. I am 65 years old. The WORX tools , blowers, edgers are all I use. I am hooked on their equipment. The best. Their service and help desk are the best. Thanks

Great cordless drill, with dual quick change chuck, and power to drive any reluctant self tapping screws.

Love that all I have to do to switch between drill bit and screw driver bit is push a button and twist – makes it so much easier to do projects – Love it

I finally ordered one since I already had five other WORX tools. I ordered the drill by itself since I had the 20v batteries. Haven’t had the chance to use it for real but have been playing with it. Now you can drill pilot holes then use screws without having to change bits. You would think someone would have thought of this before. The only caution that’s not explained well is the fact that you can’t use regular drill bits. They must have a hexagon shaft in order to work. You can buy these sets everywhere so not a huge deal.

The unit appears to work fine and is handy if you have the correct accessories (I have to wonder what the manufacturer was thinking including Round Shank HSS Drill Bits in the WA1122 67-Piece Drill Bit Accessory Kit, if someone is serious about this unit I’d suggest buying the WX176L.1 20V Power Share Switchdriver Cordless Drill & Driver w/ 67 pc. Kit which includes HSS Drill bits with the adapter for this driver). It has plenty of torque and uses the Standard 20v Worx Battery (which I have lots of).

I got this as a gift two Christmas’s ago. Loved the driver and the switchability. I only used it for household chores when needed so I was disappointed that the motor suddenly burned out after only occasional usage. It whirs but doesn’t engage or turn. Batteries still fully charge so I know that not the problem. I was going to buy another but now I’m wary of its longevity.

Best DIY cordless drill. I use drills in a light duty professional shop, and I got this to dink around the house and test out in the pro shop too.I was honestly skeptical of how useful a dual driver would be, but it’s definitely saved a lot of time already. I did have to purchase particular drill bits to use with the lock in chuck, but this also added to the time savings overall. Also if they’re in stock, WORX does sell a full setup including drivers and drill bits. It was unavailable to me at the time of purchase of the drill. The battery is also light, has powerful output and seems to charge fast with a compact charger.Best of all, this drill is light and compact. Fits well in the hand. Folks with smaller hands / lesser upper body strength will have a good ally in this tool and folks on the other end will have dramatically reduced fatigue. I personally would be skeptical about making this the work site drill as I’m not sure how likely this will survive falls and accidents, but it’s great for general use and a must have for DIY and around the house. Game changer.

I brought this a month ago for my husband. He loves it. He has done a few honey dew chores already with it. I even tested it out. It’s light, not heavy like his old drill. Great tool. Love it.

I bought this for my husband for our anniversary. He had used our daughter’s a few weeks before and had fallen in love! It is light weight enough that he can use it easily—even with arthritis—but it is tough enough to do any job.

Just received less than 2 weeks ago. Only had an opportunity to use it once. Very happy. So easy to switch from drill to driver. Saves time.
