Drill a pilot hole, switch, and drive in the fastener, then do it again, and again, without ever switching out a bit. The Switchdriver is a two-headed drill/driver that gives you instant access to your two favorite bits at all times. You don’t need two separate drills lying around. And you don’t need to fumble with bits anymore. You can just rotate the head to the next bit when you have the Worx 20V Power Share Switchdriver 2-in-1. Plus, it’s packed with more features: 12 torque control settings let you select the perfect amount of torque for the job at hand, up to a max of 265 in-lbs. The 2-speed control enables you to go from 0-400 revs/min or 0-1500 revs/min. The max drilling capacity is 3/8” in steel and 1-3/16” for wood. And you can even rotate the head with one hand while you keep your other hand on the project. (You just squeeze the red dual chuck release button and use your thigh or forearm to push over the head to the next bit.) This Switchdriver doesn’t come with a battery, but that’s by design. It makes this model less-expensive because if you already have a Power Share battery or two at home, you don’t need to pay more for a tool with another battery. Power Share batteries are interchangeable with every tool on the platform.
- [TWO BITS AT ONCE] Easily and instantly alternate between two bits on the innovative Switchdriver head. Drill a pilot hole then the screw, all without switching tools or bits
- [STRIP-PROOF] Automatic torque control stops you from stripping screws. It also prevents you from damaging the surface of the project
- [SHARE BATTERIES, SAVE MONEY] Worx Power Share is compatible with all Worx 20v and 40v tools, outdoor power and lifestyle products
- [2 SPEEDS] Variable gear train lets you go slow for backing out or drilling into tricky materials, or fast for driving your screws home
- [JUST PRESS THE BUTTON] Switch between the alternating ¼” chucks just by pressing a button. The heads rotate 180-degrees and you get a whole new tool without having to get down from the ladder
- [LED WORK LIGHT] Work in dark or dusty spaces with the trigger-activated LED light. An illuminated workspace is a safe and efficient workspace
- [LIGHTWEIGHT, COMPACT] At just 2.75 lbs., you can use the Switchdriver all day without strain. At that weight, you can maneuver into high and tough to reach spaces

So far working well. I like using the hex shank drill bits, but I have a lot of regular drill bits that won’t work with the Switchdriver. Overall I like it.

Hardly ever use nails, so much stronger using screws and can easily make modifications of a project. With the switchdriver, no need to have a drill and a screw gun. Love the flexibility of one gun that easily drills and screws.

I purchased the tool only because I have trimmer. It is as expensive as a big brand name. No Battery included. I purchased it because it has dual function. Otherwise, if you do not need the duality , stick to the big names.

Used it for the first time the other day building some jewelry displays for my wife’s polymer clay business. Previous to now, I had a real nice assortment of Panasonic Nimh battery powered tools in both 12 and 18 volt. The battery in the Switchdriver lasted easily through the whole project. Had a phillips bit in one side and drill bit with countersink in the other and was working with all oak hardwood. Both sides handled everything with ease. Plenty of battery left when done. I recommend it for anybody.

My first use of this tool was outside where I had to drill into siding and apply screws. This tool not only did the job but worked fantastic. Before I would have to change chucks and with the Switchdriver it took me half the time. Recommend it 100%.

I bought mine in 2016, I am now a 60 yr old woman and in these 3 yrs I’ve used it to frame in our windows that are in a block house (ledge windows), making cabinet shelves in our hallway, closed in our chicken coop. And my husband used it a lot also. So much so that we need a new one soon.
