I liked the looks and feel of this compact driver. Although not for heavy duty jobs it is surprisingly strong for it’s size and is great for the little jobs around the house. One of the best features is the variety of bits and ease of changing them. I liked it so well I bought one for my brother-in-law.

I bought this tool several years ago. I thought it might be a gimmick or cheap but figured I’d try it since it was inexpensive. I have used this tool almost daily for 5 or 6 years. I work as a cable technician and have used it at work and at home. It has saved me countless trips to my truck to get the right tool, it has saved me countless hours of searching through my tool bag for the correct tool. I have recommended this tool to several coworkers, many of whom have bought it. They all love it too! My advice is to get this thing and never loan it to a friend or neighbor, because you won’t ever see it again!

The small size and hefty battery has good torque for the size of the unit. Great for small projects around the house that really do not need a large 18-20 v drill; which is “over-kill”. The screw holder is a very good feature.

The ultimate in simplicity. No more searching for the right bit.

This driver is lightweight, compact and easy to use. It is very timesaving, having various bits in a cartridge where you just pull the top piece back and forth to change the bit.

I have been wanting a cordless driver for some time. Being satisfied with the Worx weed trimmer that I’ve used the past couple of years, I was wanting to get a Worx driver as well. I am not disappointed! I love the ability to change the bit by just dialing the cartridge to the desired one. When the driver arrived, it came charged so I could use it right away. Completely satisfied with this product!

My brother bought this for me when I asked for a drill for my birthday – he knew I didn’t need something hard core, just to hang pictures and stuff. I love this little thing!! Battery life is awesome too, I very rarely have to charge it! The best part is, while doing a home improvement project at my house my boyfriend – who is a contractor and owns every tool imaginable – saw this and teased me for it but once he used it, he loved it! I’ve caught him using it a bunch of times 🙂 so I’m buying him one for his birthday! Best $30 you will ever spend!

I’ve had several different brands of power screwdrivers, but none with the brilliantly designed features of the WORX semi-automatic driver. The quick-change bit cylinder saves the irritating task of finding and changing out bits when working on projects that use diverse types of screw heads. The screw holder is so convenient and clever – it’s AWESOME for those small screws that don’t have shafts long enough to grab onto while driving. You will love this gadget…I guarantee it!

I’ve had the WX254L for a few days now. It does everything I hoped it would; but, it’s not perfect. I’d award 4.5 stars if I could. If I were redesigning it, I would tweak the following:1) Delay the shutoff of the light for about 5 seconds allowing use in darkness without guess work. A double switch that activates the light before the drive mechanism would work too; but, would probably add more to the cost and be a little trickier to operate given the SD driver’s size.2) Orient the light so that it shines with its center on the tip of the bit. With mine, the bit is at the very top edge of the lighted area.3) Magnetize the bits for improved control with steel screws. They’d collect metal debris that would need to be cleared occasionally; but, I’d prefer that over not being able to easily drive screws with one hand. 4) Figure out a way to store the second cylinder of bits on-board. Doing so while maintaining the same form factor might be difficult; but, it looks to me like a second cylinder could be stored under the back side of the slide. Being able to rack the slide to change bits has a definite “cool” factor; but, (if I had to) I’d forego that to have the second cylinder handy. Allowing the cylinder to be turned manually in either direction would also be desirable.5) Include a 3-inch extension that can be inserted in the handle of the driver, behind the battery.6) Slightly increase the size of the larger slot-head bit to 3/16″.7) Instead of item 6 (above), add cylinders to include a more complete assortment (and diverse sizes) of bits. Obviously, storing three or more cylinders on-board wouldn’t be practical; but, people could better customize the on-board cylinder(s) to meet their individualized needs. Even a third empty cylinder would be an improvement.Looking back at all of my tweaks suggests that I’m not happy with my new driver. Nothing could be further from the truth. I see using it just the way it is for years to come.

I love this screwdriver! I was using my drill for screws, but it was a bit bulky.Love all the extra bits that came with it, makes assembling so much easier.

Quick and easy to use! Everything about this drill just feels right. You won’t regret it

I purchased this because of the unique ability to change the driver heads. When I started using it I found that the small handle causes it to interfere with the forward and reverse button. It can be some what frustrating. I would think that someone with larger hands would have a lot of problems because of this.

I have two of these drills. They are used daily for several hours in my business. Long battery life, lightweight and ergonomically correct. Great idea that all bit sizes are inside the drill itself. No need to hunt down the bit you need. Top Quality construction.
